Comic event of the summer?

Pfft.

Between this & Megatron: Origin, it's a bleak summer indeed.

So far this is a terribly written series, on both Marvel and Transformers characters, but more so the Avengers (do we REALLY need a chessy mini-bio on each Avenger at the beginning of each comic?)

So now Tony Stark is using Ball/Joint tech in his suits?

I love when things are both funny and sad at the same time.

I thought cheesy bios, molded-fitted characterization was what marvel was all about. :-P

im waiting for the trade of this. i like both books but i just dont see the logic of the crossover and thats usualy a bad sign.

really shouldve been TF/JLA . green lantern is a galactic police man. seems to me warfare spilling over to other worlds would be something that'd fall under his remit.

Abysmal.
The art and covers are not improving at all, and being a crossover, we know the story was going to be as weak post mix lemonade. There are no good redeeming qualities of this comic.

I hadn't been keeping up on the TF/Avenger cross-over, but I thought maybe I should. So I looked at the #3 issue preview.

...I wish I could go back in time and stop myself. :(

Could be worse, could be a TF/Rainbow bright crossover... And I can see the twisted logic in that (not good logic, but).

I'm open for a good crossover, the crazier the better, some of the more offbeat crossovers, in my opinion have worked pretty well. Archie vs The Punisher, Star Trek/X-Men, and maybe half of the 50 GI Joe/Transformers crossovers. But you have to have a really creative and entertaining reason for the crossover to work. The story really makes no sense, and seeing the Marvel heroes go head up against the TFs has no appeal to me. Maybe them fighting the Sentinels, or taking on Galactus, who's trying to eat Cybertron MIGHT be cool, but even then it's pushing it. And the art is really lacking on this book too.

Yeah, atleast coblra loves robots of death. And watching megatron punish cobra commander for his arrogance has to be one of my favorite pastimes in TF comic reading.

ya see. that makes sense. and would be the perfect setting for a fantastic four/TF crossover. in a way theyre both sci fi books so it'd make sense plus you could even have knowing little quips in the dialogue

REED :" It's Galactus!, he's going to eat your world!"

PRIME: " Dont worry. we've handeled this sort of thing before"

im not againsts crossovers but after the god awfull mess that was amalgam and co back in the 90's i demand the things make sense now if im to be seperated from me cash!
