Dark Ages and Age of Wrath

Since I haven't read either of these,
I have a few questions about these stories that ran during Dreamwave's run of the TF comic.

-Now if I remember correctly, "Dark Ages" is the story that reveals the Fallen, am I correct?
-During the time of the Fallen and the other Original Thirteen, was the planet already named "Cybertron"?
-What's "Age of Wrath" about?

Thank you in advance for your time, attention, and of course, replies. Tomfoolery is also graciously accepted as long as it is neither vulgar nor to be confused with the facts.

Dark Ages did indeed concentrate on the Fallen's return to Cybertron but didn't go into great detail on his backstory. Furman provided some more details on this in the Ultimate Guide, I'll look up the specifics and post them shortly.

Prime and Megs were both missing, presumed dead, through that arc and Age of Wrath deals with Megatrons return and would have seen Prime back as well by the end of the series if it had been completed. The major villains behind the scenes in that third volume were the Quintessons however and presumably this was intended to tie in to the retelling of the movie/Unicron story that was kicking off in the G1 ongoing at the time.

Simon Furman wrote:The Fallen The many battles against Primus (this should read Unicron) culminated in shocking betrayal. Primus had created a crew of 13 TRANSFORMERS to optimise his defensive and tactical options in planet mode. But (gramatically incorrect Mr Furman, you can't start a sentence with 'but') one of the 13 had been turned, and had attempted to sabotage Primus' planet mode. 'The Fallen', as this TRANSFORMER became known, was thwarted, and joined his new master... only to be sucked along with him into a black hole.

I really wish that giant thread you posted all the info about DW comics had been stickied waaaaghlord, it had some good info in it.

The Age of Wrath mini-series never finished due to DW going belly up, but I agree with Waagh, the direction it seemed to be heading in would have tied in nicely with the ongoing DW story.

I got lazy and didn't update it beyond the G1 stuff. I still will and then I'll bump it back onto the first page by making the 3rd post a provisional space for links to web comics, in the meanwhile asking for feedback and questions to keep it afloat for a while. My thread isn't dead, just having a nice little nap.

Thanks for your answers so far, people.
I'm kinda writing a custom TF history that I intend to use for an rpg...it incorporates bits and pieces of different versions of TF history. I've somehow managed to wrangle together Primus and Unicron, the Covenant, Primacron, the Thirteen, the Oracle and Vector Sigma, the Quints and even the Liege Maximo. I've even somehow managed to tie in the Robo-Smasher device from the series, although I'm thinking of maybe dropping it.
Maybe I'll post it in the fanfic section when I get enough done...right now I'm somewhere around the time when the Decepticons are taking over, and Optimus Prime is about to surface. Trying to decide which proto-Prime to use, "Optronix" or "Orion Pax". I prefer Optronix myself, but then I'd have to dump the whole "Orion-Dion-Ariel/Optimus-Magnus-Elita" connection.
