I hope this is the place to ask :-?
Can anyone tell if these comics are worth anything to anyone.
I am so not a comic person but have had this set for some years I think I got in it in a trade with some other TF stuff.
thank you in advance

I'm probably the best qualified since I'm the administrator of a Comic Book Forum.

First, keeping them sealed in that box probably isn't the best idea since there is no way to know if the cardboard/paper touching the books are made of archival materials. Keeping them in the box/package really adds no extra value anyway. I would personally take them out and bag and board them.

As for value:
I'm assuming the books are 9.4(NM) or better here.

TRANSFORMERS: GENERATION 2 #1 $6-$8 Pretty common book though so it may be a hard sell.

GI JOE #140-142 again $6-$8 per book.

Take them out of that package though, that's my advice.

Nope, those ones aren't worth a lot at all. Those packs hung around for years, and then years after that on ebay. I brought mine for 99p + £2 shipping (about $6).

Like I said those are the Overstreet prices for those books BUT actually getting that much $$$ for them could be a hard sell because they are so common.
Couple that with the fact that no one knows what condition they really ARE in inside of that packet. Don't ever assume any comic is NM because it is in a packet of any sort because more often than not they are VF or lower.

Very few modern comics of any kind(what we call Copper-Age 1980-present) have any real monetary value. While they are some good reads, generally are not worth much $$$ unfortunately.

Is that for the regular #1 or the one that came in this 4 pack? This version has a fold out cover and metallic print that weren't on the regular edition. Plus my copy's signed by Mr Furman in lovely silver scrawl as well.

Of course that value was for the gatefold cover.
The value of the Newstand(non-gatefold cover) version is only $4-$5 tops.

Signed comics rarely command much of a premium even if they have a certificate of authenticity. There's just not much of a market for signed books unless its someone big and its in signature series CGC slab. In fact a big portion of comic book collectors absolutely despise signed books. In other collectible markets signatures mean something but in comics people generally don't care if the book is signed by an illustrator or writer.
