wait.... lemme get this straight.

Theres gonna be a Best Buy exclusive that will prolly be sold with the new metallic Megatron or Ratchet toy.

Theres gonna be a Target special that'll have an exclusive prequel comic.

AND theres gonna be a Walmart exclusive of the DVD with an animated prequel disc.

Not to mention the special Tin cover DVDs at various other stores....

WTF!

Why so many exlusives?!?!?! Not that im not happy or whatever. But I can't buy all of them!! This whole run around is such bull. ;o; Just put all the gaddam specials in ONE SET!

That's great but I heard there'd be a Walmart exclusive DVD with a panoramic type animated short of the prequil comic.

If this is true, for the first time in the movie run, Walmart has Target beat as far as my dollar's concerned.

This seems to be the newest marketing gimmick for stores. I've seen it with other movies - Casino Royale for instance. Every flippin' store has it's own exclusive extra. I got mine at walmart so I could get the deck of cards with Bond/CR logos on the backs.

We're going to see more and more of this. Me, I'd rather they skip the crap and knock a couple of bucks off the price.

Good old Paramount, I'm guessing that $150 million from Toshiba wasn't enough, and that money from ebay and GM wasn't enought so now they receive more money from Target and Wal-Mart for DVD exclusives with a more complete package.

Buy one copy, download the extras when they leak on the internet.

At least most of you guys live in the county that these place are being sold from, as far as Paramount ect are concerned, those of us outside the US aren't worth bothering with :-(

I hope this will all be up on YouTube/Mr Internet or available through Ebay.

If no-one else does, I will rip or scan every "exclusive" extra onto the net for all fans to enjoy.

The Target one is new material actually. The Wal-Mart DVD is the prequel comic, just animated.

That would be nice but I'm not sure if the mods will allow it to be posted here. Same thing for the mods on other TF forums.

So many smaller tie in comics... Target had one online, and now they have another one with the DVD.

It's all getting a bit too much, I'd prefer to have proper extra features on the DVD, instead of this gimmicky stuff.

It's nothing new.
The Star Wars OT and Prequels DVDs did this.
Casino Royal did this.
