IDW has updated their Art Du Jour! Section. They updated the section with a new colored page drawn especially for the Transformers: Beast Wars The Ascending #1. Here is what IDW has to say about the image:

Oooohhh, artsy!

Heck, I'd like to see a full comic done in that art style, as a one-off, it could be interesting!

I'd prefer the comic to be out in time though...

I love when new stories fill in certain gaps in my own collective that have existed for years.

IE, RID Megatron(Gigatron) is an evoloved Magmatron, who began upgrading himself secretly in the Beast Machines conflict and in doing so took advantage of BW Megatron's time tampering and positioned himself as a Predicon Megatron in the RID conflict, leaving Decepticon Megatron in stasis during the temporal distortion.

This explains how he became aware of a way to manipulate these distortions.

Hrrrm, I like. Can't wait to see the finished page, however I'm going to wait till the comic comes out, I really don't want to spoil it for myself. I'd prefer the whole comic in all it's glory.
