Very old. Check further down the board and you'll see a couple of threads about this.

Maybe that's because TFs haven't turned 30 yet? Expect it in 2014!

Been known for some time, but it hasn't been discussed for some time, and there may be some UK members who were unaware of the release. Especially now its less than a month away.

I had no idea these were out until I came across the series one set and indiviual DVDs in HMV a month or so ago. I already have the R1 Complete Series DVD boxset put out by Rhino a year or two ago. THe packagig is definatly better on the US set but for those that have seen them how does the content compare?

Fairly certain that they are the same releases we got here in Region 4:
R4 Season 1 Volume 1

If they are then they are as basic as you can get for a DVD, no extras, just play movie, or select Audio options. For only AU$15 (6 pounds) or so, you can't expect much else.

Looks like a cool cover to me, because it looks like the one from Season 1 and I love that one. :)

That looks like a German version of the cover.

Why did they release BM in R2 without doing BW?

Ahh so the UK/AUS version is sort a buget edition stripped of the animated menues and extras. Sorta pleased I didt wait then, the R2 version was pretty cheap anyway.

O, wow! I didn't know about those. I thought we'd only had the VHS box sets and those random DVD's that had three of four episodes on. I hath been educated!

 I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for these. Though series 3 is lacking a listing for Optimal Situation. And they stopped numbering the episodes so people wont notice they say there is 13 but only have 12 listed.

A re-release of this boxsets certainly wouldn't go amiss.
