Would you watch a Classics TF show?

The Classic TV show would be a sequal to the original Sunbow Entertainment TV series, season 1 and 2. Like the comic, the third season and movie didn't happen. It's set in 2007, Spike is now in his late 30s or early 40s. The cast would be the Classics toy line, plus botcon exclusives and the upcoming toys. Megatron and the Decepticons fled Earth after a defeat, but have returned, powered up and ready to invade again. Optimus and the Autobots have been living in peace with earth for all this time and are taken by surprise, but take up arms once again.
What do you think?

Depends upon story and animation.
Well-thought stories, yeah.
Not so overstylized animation, yeah.
Dialogue like Cybertron, nay.
Animation like Animated, nay.
(In other words, I want something en par with Gargoyles.)

Yes!
But in the stile of GANTZ and Helsing Ultimate OVA!

If it were drawn similar to the original cartoon, but cleaner and without the embarrassing art goofs.

Only if it had a good story.

I'd give any Transformer series a shot. But if it were a sequal, getting as many of the original actors as possible would be a big plus(specifically Bumblebee), and for actors who can't possibly reprise they're role or don't want to, sound alikes.

I would love a Classics Show, Written by Bob Forward and Flint Dille also animated by the same crew that animated X-men Evolution.

I would pay crazy amounts of money to see the old teams back together again.
Optimus Prime and his cronies defending power stations from the classically inept Seekers. Chip rolling around in a squeaky wheelchair. Carly looking hawt in modern realistic animation styles. Shockwave. Blitzwing looking like he's supposed to.
Classics shows would be awesome.
Alas... 'tis but a dream.

I see.

I would prefer it not being 3D though, you can't beat good animation. I'm a sucker for it.

Like animation that is a mix of 2D and 3D a lot!
Especialy if it's as perfect as in GANTZ ore Helsing Ultimate.

Superlink & Galaxy Force already did the mix of 2D & 3D, now please lets bring back good old US animation into TF or perhaps have Mainframe do it, But I wouldnt mind the guys who made Hellsing Ultimate to make Classics.

For those crying for Mainframe.
The Mainframe that once was doesn't exist anymore, they and their crew changed very much. Long gone are the times of ReBoot, War Planets and Beast Wars.
They are now nothing but a part of one of the divisions of Rainmaker.

I beck to differ, Rainmaker are planning on bringing back Reboot. If there bringing back Reboot, then they'll consider doing Transformers again in the near future.

Given what I have seen of how they wish to bring it back (Is it even Rainmaker and not another fangly design company that's just allowed to do it?) I don't think it will be ReBoot like it once was. Apparently they don't even have input from the original creators. And no mention of a resolution to the fourth season.
As matter of fact, to me it currently sounds more like a semi-professional fan project.
Here, sounds more like a cross of LJ and DA crossed with a self-publishing company. I wouldn't expect the ReBoot liscence to be all that expensive.
And while I don't mind changing of the medium, I mind that its not the people who created ReBoot, the ones who know how the story is supposed to go. Instead we get some fan chosen group. Might as well stick to fanfiction.

Well I dont even know if the Original Creators have even payed any attention to all the racket and petitions to bring Reboot back in the past few years. Personally I would rather have Rainmaker make the TFmovie Prequal than waste time on Reboot. But I think Mainframe has a brighter future as Rainmaker.

Oh, yes, they have. But it is hard to do anything when they are no longer employed by the company that holds the rights and are busy enough to make their own living.
Btw, ReBoot recently got an artbook for which one of the original creators of ReBoot made his first convention appearance.

Well, since Rainmaker isn't wasting any time on ReBoot (they got nothing to do with the creation of the webcomic), maybe you should make an internet petition for it. Although I'd rather they make ReBoot instead of wasting time on a Transformers 2007 prequel.
But I think Mainframe has a brighter future as Rainmaker.
How can something that doesn't exist anymore have a brighter future. Mainframe got absorb into one part of Rainmaker.
Does Rainmaker even develop it's own contents or do they just do contractual work?

Well Mainframe isnt the only CGI company that could have a go at making a TF show. I cant think of any others but Pixar shouldnt have a chance because they suck, But TF dosnt exactly have to be CGI for the rest of its life.
The animation studios that made Justice Leauge or X-men Evolution should seriously consider taking TF and making them.

I know, I wish I wonder what persuaded Mainframe to make those movies in the first place when alot of people hated them anyway, Mainframe should have gone back to making TF shows, Too late now though
