Who wants Beast Wars released in Region 2?

The movie has generated alot of interest in the franchise. G1 has been released by Metrodome, Sony and Rhino. A couple of Armarda, Energon and Cybertron episodes have been released. Beast Machines have/are being released (even using a modified version of the movie tag line). Episodes of RID have been released. A couple of Beast Wars episodes have been released.

So I ask this: Why not a complete series box set of Beast Wars. It has passed the 10th Anniversary mark, I know someone holds the rights to releasing the episodes as the Agenda and following 3 episodes have been on a DVD. Not everyone has a multi region DVD player, or are willing to import the Australian box sets as they simply don't have such funds or the means to buy online. Even if it is a 'Vanilla' boxset like Beast Machines, a box set of series 1, 2 and 3 would be welcomed by many.

Rhino released such a thing many, many years ago, when the show was first airing, but they have all faded into obscurity with no further releases. Why not a re release of those? Or a new batch from Sony, as they are releasing Beast Machines series 2 in a few weeks (which was never shown on terrestrial TV, unlike Beast Wars). The release of the movie has rejunvinated interest in Transformers in the general public, as well as the fans, so seeing a new Transformers series in shops will surely peak their interest, and the original Beast Wars fans are now of the age where they are old enough to earn income, and can afford to purchase such a beloved series and relive some great moments of their childhood.

I am making this post in the hopes that someone from Metrodome (or whomever holds the rights to the show) will realise there is a demand for Beast Wars in Region 2 and will take steps to ensure they are given a release.

Thank you.

Rights are probably held by TVLoonland, and quite frankly after I saw some German releases liscenced through them (Mainframe's ReBoot and Shadow Raiders) I do not wish to give them my money in any form or shape.

Additionally, I'd prefer the original cartoon over Beast Wars (I recently saw a few eps of Beast Wars and found it very jarring how the background music sounded like Rebbot played wrong).

A Beast Wars DVD set would better have a very good value/price ratio.

That abmissal German version of the Movie and the joke of a G1 box set were liscenced through Loonland, too.

So Australia has the best release of Beast Wars? That's nice to have something that is the best in the world. Seems unfair that they ain't giving a release in the UK. It's a popular enough show to warrant. Hell even Beast Machines got a barebones set of 4 volumes here. Im happy now that my Beast Era of TF is complete show wise.

Oh yeah I definitely want BW on DVD. I've held off buying the Beast Machines stuff because of the randomness of releasing the sequel to a series without putting the original out. WTF?

To be honest, I managed to track down a lot of the show on VHS, but there's a few eps I am missing and a DVD set or 3 like the G1 ones would be really welcome.

WE have the best BW release, the best (legit) G1 collection release, and will soon have the best Headmasters release!

For all you Pommies, and other region 2-ers it might be worth your while to hack your DVD player and import the Madamn releases. The exchange rate makes them pretty damn appealing in Pounds and Euros!

QFT!

I hate them, I don't even want to buy the G1 box set, itr looks like someone made it in his basement- with no talent what so ever!
