TRANSFORMERS MOSAIC: "Obsolete"

The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted.
These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love.
No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

This piece is called "Obsolete" by Jen Kerner and Kris Carter (aka Drivaaar).

Another nice issue. Good writing, it seems that everybody is in character, except for Trailbreaker. Isn't that a role for Ironhide?

With trailbreaker's lack luster career in most media, along with his actual short comming in speed and requesting to stay behind for his high fuel use, i think this is spot on.

Ironhide maybe a bit out dated but he never sees himself as in the way. Trailbreaker hasn't broken a trail since 1983.

I'ld like to see a Dinobots:true story feature with there social short comings and disfunctions. Swoop is really a sad character much like Trailbreaker. Arguably more so.

This is a great piece.

Trailbreaker gets so underused. He had some pretty good screentime in Season 1, but was barely ever there in Season 2. Trailbreaker's also one of the bots in who's in storyline limbo. He never died, but also is never seen from again.

Front Paged and Credited.

Really feel for poor Trailbreaker, he always was heavily under-utilised. I was hoping to see more of him in the IDW stuff, but so far he has had only the one brief cameo.

'Breaker isn't obsolete, he's just slow...

At first I was happy to see TrailBreaker getting some love, but then I wound up feeling sorry for him.

I never saw him as the over reactive paranoid type though?

But you know, it's been that kind of day...

Ouch Trailbreaker... your a throwaway character. It's cool, so were 90% of the G1 transformers.
