I keep seeing these outrageous prices for it. $80. $234. What's it really worth?

those prices in my mind are too high. I wonder what is so special about that issue.

Uh, Gee, I dunno, maybe the fact it's the last issue of the Marvel G1 series? 8-| But that is expensive. Especially when it's been reissued in TPB form by Titan not too long ago.

Well sh!t I have 01-80, first printings, most in prime condition, most in plastic baggies with cardstock backing, the rest, just loose in plastic baggies.

How much are they worth?

Also, same for G.I. Joe, 01/through, whenever, they stopped.

I've seen issue 1 of the Marvel series for $20.00 before, right around the time the movie came out, but never seen anything that expensive.

Is this #80 raw or slabbed(graded)?

Raw 9.6 your looking at about $35.00 TOPS, thats WAY on the high end.

Graded(slabbed) 9.6 your looking at $86.00 again thats on the high end.

So those prices you are quoting are absolutely ridiculous.
If its movie hype thats driving up the prices, wait a few months it will settle back down.

The comic was on an upswing when it ended, creatively anyway. The last 10-15 issues were among the best of the series.

Its only because its the final issue.
#79 isn't worth much although it is a good read.

:BOT: I can see those quoted prices if they were graded (crazy how that works), but I hardly think anyone pays those prices if they see it in the back bins. :CON:
