In Cybertron, Primus merged the four ships that carried the Cyber Planet Keys and the Omega Lock into the Ark. He later grabbed the back ring of the Ark and the panel on the front of the ship with the Autobot symbol folded inwards and turned out to be a giant cannon which shot into the black hole and closed it. I thought it was rather kick ass myself.

Although the Ark did remind me of a Twinkie

So did I.
However, I think the character to receive the worst treatment when it comes to reincarnation is G1 Optimus Prime (at least with the English versions and no, BW Optimus Primal doesn't count since he isn't a reincarnation). Poor 'Bot.

I quite liked the Ark in Cybertron. Nice twist, while keeping it as an important part in Transformers lore. Also wish it had've been the extra bonus packed with Supreme Primus.
I thought Hot Shot got the rough end of the stick in Cybertron (seeing as it was supposed to be a continuation from Energon) he went from a level headed experienced soldier to a turbo boosted moron.
In terms of toys, Armada Sideswipe got the shaft, big-time.

I don't have it, but I regret buying the japanese Sixbuilder reissue. I got Landcross first and had so many expectations(ex: same size as Landcross, somewhat poseable, cool figures, etc...; ).

For a toy, it's gotta be Machine Wars Starscream. Just look at him, in no way is that Starscream. Same goes for MW Soundwave. Hate 'em, absolutely hate 'em. In terms of cartoons, I'd say RID Megatron, never liked him much. Just about any RID character that has a name correlating to G1 or any other Memorable character.

Don't you mean stand alone series badly dubbed into a continuation.
All the bots/cons who had speaking parts in previous series' to "bleep bleep beep bleep" in Armada.

RID Megs was an absolute disgrace. He was extremely non- threatening and felt more like your everyday Saturday Morning Cartoon villian rather than Megatron.

Oh come on, any Transformer that could give his enemies THE ULTIMATE FINGER is totally badass.

LOL!

Sorry, but his laziness and stupidity negate his small, small amount of badassness

Have to admit, RID Megatron grew on me. It's that line "Make it go away!" when Scourge's mission to blow up a dam was foiled. The RID cast are much cooler than any of the Unicron Trilogy cartoon characters.
On topic: Any Optimus Prime
Energon Ironhide, an insult to the G1 great
Cybertron Megatron, worst looking Megs ever
Transmetal/Armada Terrorsaur. Much prefer the Basic original BW Terrorsaur. Think it's the face.
Beast Machines Silverbolt
Classics Starscream, Rodimus and Bumblebee. Even as a kid, such a lack of scale within a toyline would have bugged the hell out of me. Cars are meant to be Basics!!!!!

Beast Machines Silverbolt
Not a reincarnation, but an unsatisfying change in character none the less.

I am more neutral on BM Silverbolt. BW Silverbolt had such an overdone, one dimensional personality that ONLY his relationship (and how well written it was) with Black Arachnia made him bearable. Silverbolt in a sequal series where Arachnia was now firmly a Maximal would be annoying if something wasn't done to his personality. I admit the BM change wasn't the best but still. On a side note ever notice that after becoming a vulture Silverbolt kept picking at issues he should have left dead (his revenge kick). Was this intentional?

That toy alone was better than the show itself. I completely agree

I was not too fond of Blackarachnia's and Rattrap's portrayal in Beast Machines.
