Interview with Animated SFX Supervisor Jeff Shiffman

Website <a href="http://tformers.com/transformers-interview-tf-animated/8685/news.html" target="_blank">tformers.com</a> have posted an interview held with Jeff Shiffman, co-sound supervisor on the upcoming Transformers: Animated Series.

In the Interview Shiffman discusses the use of the "Classic" Transforming sound, the creation of layered sound for the series, building a sound library for the series and the integration of sound and music in the series.

I do have to say sound plays an important part in pace and mood on any show, so here's hoping he did a good job.

I know we've had some clips with sound here, but since I have no sound capabilities on this laptop, I'm waiting for TV.

Still not a fan of the looks or most of the toys I've seen so far, but I'm hoping the other elements of the show pick up the slack.

Very interesting. It's always nice to know that a lot of effort went into such a vital element.

this sound sounds awesome.
twenty layers?
and Bumblebee's stinger weapons sound cool. Bumblebee is turning more and more like a bee. wings in the movie, stingers etc.
When I imitate the sound I use C. easier to pronounce then B.

And anybody who complains is clearly more than capable of doing the job themselves! And then keep the NEW series like the OLD cartoon.

But really now, complainers can't slag this guy off.
