The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted.
These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love.
No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

Today's piece is called ”Trained”. Story by Martin (Tronprogram) Fisher, Art by Kris (Deathwind13) Smith.

Great art on this one. Another great Mosaic. Seems probable that Astotrain can fool a lie detector, he is psy-ops warrior after all.
I like the color on this one too, gun metal and hues of violet very Decepticon. :)

This guy's use of pose and expression is right up there with Roche. Great job!

Although I don't know if I liked the ending. Yet another Decepticon minion who wishes to rise to the throne. If it came out before Ramjet's Spotlight, it would have been fresher, but now it just seems contrived. It would have worked better into the given continuity if his true intention really was to have Starscream take over. Of course, it was probably written before both the Spotlight and Devastation #2, so it's understandable.

Well done! Wonderful art, nice short story that gives us new incite. The dialouge's realistic too, so maybe that's why I like it so much.

Top-notch as usual ;)^ .

That was great, 'specially since I watched 'Triple Takeover'
last night. HA HA! Very fitting.

Interesting take on the character, who, outside of "Triple Takeover," was more of a grunt than anything else. Does run somewhat contrary to his portrayal in "Devestation," but as another pointed out, this was probably written before that series' release.

Megatron should have ripped out his guts, I'm sure it would have been more effective.

Awsome art and story. The cons biggest weakness is their lack of teamwork. If they were all on the same page they would crush the bots.

So much dissention and intrigue in the world of the Decepticons... I find it interesting that ALL OF THEM want to lead! Megatron assembled the Decepticon army, brought them all together. For that, he really deserves some respect! I can't understand why everyone on the Decepticon team wants to take everyone else out! But I guess that's why I'm an Autobot.

This was a very good Mosaic tile all-round.

Personally, I think that Megatron would constantly monitor his warriors' thoughts, not just from time to time. He wouldn't need a large machine in HQ - he could do it remotely through tiny robot drones linked to him by wi-fi.

In the long run, the Decepticon cause is doomed.

If they all do what they want to - fight each other constantly - the Autobots will beat them.

If they do what they don't want to - cooperate - they will effectively become like Autobots! The cooperative ethos will make them care for each other. This will then extend to caring for other groups.

I think this is my favorite so far. Very well done. I really like the expression on Astrotrains face at the end.

Is this the Megatron from Battlestars?

This runs along the lines of my own "fannon" in HMW, where the triple changers teamed with Starscream's Predacons and became the original Tripredicus Council.

Like you'll see a lot of that outside of a Gestalt team. (Even then isn't it a bit iffy?)

Decepicons are a lot like Sith, in that Decepticons are prone to turn on each other, just as a Dark Lord's apprentice is apt to turn on his or her master should they live long enough. Even Vader did it, though for different (and better) reasons than he'd envisioned...

Another usurper... interesting take, as I have taken Astrotrain only to be questioning Megatron's leadership, not planning a takeover bid.

Could be very interesting if this is indeed the course Furman takes with Astrotrain.

I like Astrotrain's characterization here. Gives him some nice depth.

The art seems odd to me but I still like it and feel it works.
