Nothing. Just a bunch of clunky foreshadowing about what’s to come and pointless fighting that manages the incredibly impossible task of being dull and boring.

You must really hate Simon.

It wasn't all dull, it shows that Magmatron can travel into different times, he can watch but not act.
Ravege starts an attack on the Maximal base so he can get those timewarp thingys, to help BW Megatron kill the Maximals Optimal Optimus team.

Thean this Fuzors attack, which you know from ish 3, also you see Grimlock eating a few Predacons.

As I said, not a whole lot except foreshadowing delivered with the precision of a sledgehammer and a battle that doesn't resolve itself until near the end of #3.

The plot doesn't really kick into high gear till the end of #3, and sadly, it does so going from 0 to 60 in three seconds, hitting a brick wall as it does so. If the first three issues had been condensed into at least one and a half, it would have been a lot better.

OH OK, yea you could be right on this, but would you buy 1 and a half comics? :P
Well Just look at it from the bright side, more badass pics from Don.

And all we are getting from him is the art is issues #1-3. :(

I know Furman was trying to not only build suspension and whatnot in issues 1 and 2, but character as well, but there are just too many Beasts in these books to give them proper characters. Again another 4 parter that would have benefited from being a 6 parter.

I get the feeling that's what the Sourcebook is suspposed to do.

Notice I said "supposed" to. Because it actually really doesn't.

I honestly don't know what the Sourcebooks are supposed to do.

You can thank the <a href="http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Blendtrons">Blendtron's</a> for that.

Elephorca, Rartorata and Drancron are the Blendtron's, loyal only to Unicron. They pumped Shockoract up with Anglomois energy for reasons that I think will be revealed in #4.

Rartorata is the one responsible for infecting Razorbeast, but I assume he only stung him to delay and affect the Maxmials/Predacons on Earth, not for any higher or greater reason. (though I am quite possibly very wrong)

I hate 4 parters, exept Spider-Man Regain, to bloody short.
Why only 1-3?
Are you refearing to Don stopping TF art? Then I have to say, he most probebly has finished it already, I think I read somewere that a the first ish of a comic is realeased once the next 3 isuees are near completion.

Guido Guidi did the art on issue 4. Well, at least this one's over. Hooray for no more "angle-moistness" (I hope)!

Guido Guidi?
Awesome, t does suck that the last part isn't drawn by the same guy, but I like GG's stuff, he is one of my faves, I put him right up there with JRJ!
