The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.
These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted.
These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love.
No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

I am not familiar with this story. Who is that with Jazz? What's the story behind their love?

Nice to see a Jazz mosaic, who that was with him?

Man, as I read I thought I was gonna be the only guy that didn't know who the fembot was. Whew!!!
I like the art. Reminds me of the Perry Fellowship Bible series spoofs.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

This is the only Mosaic I've hated so far. It's fine and dandy to make fan charecters. It's even fine to write fanfiction about them. But this came off as just fanwank. Getting your unnamed female charecter cozy with your favorite charecter, to me doesn't belong in a Mosaic. Now if it were a canon couple or even two canon charecters (one male one female) I would have enjoyed it. The writing is alright. I would have probably enjoyed it more had it been say Optimus and Elita, Arcee and half the third season cast, or one of the couples from Search For Elita One.
I'm hoping that came off as constructive criticism and not trollish. But I know at least 1 person will get offended by what I just said.

This may end up being a rare instance of a fan character making it into a Mosaic.
I'm happy people have enjoyed it (it is a sweet story), but we don't intend any habits of using non-canon characters in TFM.

Dr.Jones, I'm pretty certain Jazz doesn't have time for love.

I really like it. The idea of Jazz having a secret love with a Decepticon is kind of juicy. It was written pretty well too. Good job.

I have to admit this is one of the coolest of the Mosaics to date.

Am I the only one thinking that this should be a Silverbolt and Blackarachnia story instead?

Heh, I've hated each and every single mosaic. I don't see the appeal to a one page comic strip of a tiny piece of a piece of a story, and a large portion of those "stories" aren't even canon (not that I really care about whats canon, but when you go and make something up off the top of your head, and then go nowhere with that in the "mosaic" all you have is just that, a collage of pictures with text desvribing some convoluted fragment of a plot.)
Anyways, this one may be written well, but I agree, this does lean more towards the fan wankage side of things.

I love the Mosaics personally. It's fun seeing these little "moments in time" focused on putting across one particular idea/statement. Some of them put new spins on existing stories; others just make you think about characters in new ways. It's also fun seeing which characters writers are drawn to and what aspects of those characters they want to highlight.
Admittedly, I find Mosaics most fun in the "encouraging me to think about things" sense... they're not really long enough just to sit back and tell a full contained story (although some have done so anyway!)
As for this story, it *is* a very nice concept, but I agree it'd be more interesting based on existing characters. There's so many existing TF characters already that I've always found fan ones mostly superfluous/bleh. *apologetic look*

Pretty cool=)
The concept of "forbidden love" is rarely used in TF's, I presume?
It's good to see it being used, especially with Jazz.
A Autobot and a Decepticon being together, would prolly not be looked good upon by the leaders. (Megatron would prolly have the fembot's head for it, as it would mean betrayal to even consort with a Autobot. Optimus would prolly counsel with Jazz, being the good leader as he is.)
But still, it's a very good Mosaic. The subject pretty much isn't used that very much, and it's good that it just isn't overused.

I don't see anything that would indicate that she is Decepticon.

I'm not seeing anything that says that she's a Decepticon either.
I'm more interested in who this fembot is, anyway.

Ying and Yang, light and dark...the fact that it's a secret, forbidden love. Also, she has her fist next to his Autobot insignia. It's pretty obvious to me.
