Pretty sure this needs to be moved. *Flashes the Mod Signal*
Anyway I'm voting for Warpath.

Haha! So true!
How was Seaspray annoying?
Daniel was annoying, but he wasn't a transformer...
Blurr annoyed me with his rambling.

Blurr is annoying, as is Daniel. (I actually don't mind Wheelie, though I don't like him either.)
But Slingshot is the *most* annoying character to me. Blurr and Daniel are sort of funny annoying, but Slingshot is jerk annoying.

Wow! You want me to narrow that down to just one or two, maybe three??? Not possible! Well, let's just say that every character wearing the Autobot insignia annoyed me! Why, you ask? Because they had no visible "Dark sides", no quirks to speak of....They were all WAAAAAY too goodie-two-shoes for me! If I HAVE to narrow it down, and exclude Wheelie and Daniel for obvious reasons, it would have to be Optimus Prime as number one annoyance, followed by Blurr, Brawn, Arcee, Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime, and Perceptor (sorry Jeysie!)...Starscream could occasionally get on my nerves too, but he was supposed to!

heh, only Wheelie was annoying enough.
but for the Seasons 1 & 2, i'd vote for:
Perceptor (that Englishman Ivy-league formal language could be annoying to listen to sometimes, could he have been an upper-class Cybertronian prior?)
Warpath (ZOOM! POW! BANG!)
Beachcomber (because he was such a beatnik)
these TFs weren't really that annoying like Wheelie, but quirky enough to warrant a listing on this thread.

I'd say Daniel And Wheelie's Takara version more the thier American Version.
Warpath . HA! His dialouge was kinda annoying!
Grimlock Annoyed me in season 3 when he would never transform into robot mode and was always in Dinosaur mode saying "Me Grimlock, Me Grimlock" The "ME Grimlock" thing became way over used and exaggerated in Season 3.
Another one is Sky Linx. He was so damn Annoying!
He was always so Full of himself. And the actor for his voice made him annoying too.

You definitely have a different definition of "quirky" than I do.

I'll agree with the "no dark sides" part, but the Autobots had a lot of quirkiness/craziness happening... part of why I like 'em. I could probably make a larger list of Autobots I find memorable/fun than I can Decepticons. :>
zemper wrote:(that Englishman Ivy-league formal language could be annoying to listen to sometimes, could he have been an upper-class Cybertronian prior?)
I wouldn't call it upper-class, just educated, since he's one of the few Autobots that sounds smart without also sounding snotty (compare Highbrow, Sky Lynx, and Grimlock when he got super-smart, for instance). But, if I made a list of which voices in TF I liked the best, he'd be near the top. :> (So I have weird tastes...)
And, how did I forget the Dinobots? I take it back, the Dinobots are the most annoying. Slingshot at least serves a purpose, but I could have lived without the Dinobots entirely.

heh, you got that snotty thing about Sky Lynx all right haha. if he didn't kick Predaking's arse constantly, he'd be in my list too.

I'd say the dinobots are the most annoying, as well as Blurr. Warpath could grate the nerves as well.
As for the Autobots not being very dimensional due to a lack of "dark sides", I agree to an extent. I think they had some golden opportunities and they didn't do what they could've. For example, I love how Red Alert is paranoid, but the only episode that dealt with it was when he simply went bonkers. I think they could've used the personality trait well had they bothered to explore his character. Same thing with Mirage. We could've seen a lot more of him. I definitely think goody-two-shoes gets old. We need to see that they aren't infallible beings that cannot be corrupted (except Prime, of course).

I'd have to say Warpath. "Wow! Zam! Zang! Pow! Blam!"
Second choice might be the hippy-dippy Beachcomber. "Wow! Cool man... Save the Earth".

NEVER and add Blurr to my list. I hate his guts.
Red Alert sucks..... I can't stand him one bit. I don't remember what episode it was but its the one were he teams up with Starscream... Optimus should of just done everyone a favor and shot him in the face!
Grapple... I can't stand the "I'm just a builder..." lol.

Yes, Auto-Beserk is one of my favorite episodes. Red Alert is a character that would normally be very cautious and untrusting, but because of a glitch he starts to utterly lose it, believes the Autobots are in some plot to dispose of him, and allows himself to be so easily manipulated by Starscream. In the end, his guilt from his actions is so great that he felt he deserved to die, but his friend, who he had believed to betray him, endangered himself to save him. I thought it was a good story. I also like stories where a character changes due to something out of his control, or the allure of something is so great that he no longer has control, like with the Spiderman symbiote. I only wish Red Alert got more screentime.

bbbbbboooooooo!!!! lol, That episode bugged the hell out of me. I like episodes that introduced a Third party into the mix. I love Call of the Primatives and that episode were Galvatron goes to the center of Cybertron to unleash some power core deal and then monsters attach him.
Would you consider the spores from the Return of Optimus Prime a third party? I love those episodes as well.

I think the spores idea was good, just not executed all that well. I've always liked character episodes best in any kind of shows, that focus on one particular character and some kind of conflict, whether it's with another character or within themselves. That's why I liked Auto Beserk so much.
And like I mentioned before, I like when humans get the upper hand (at least momentarily). As much as some may hate Prime Target, I loved seeing Astrotrain and Blitzwing fall into the trap. I loled.
