Following our earlier report about the "Reign of Starscream" cover Line art being released by Alex Milne, comes a report from Seibertron's own Shinobi Rendar has informed us that both covers for "Reign of Starscream" have now been released in full colour.

Alex Milne:

James Raiz:

Both images have been coloured by Kieran Oats, who has previously worked on Spotlight: Ramjet, Sixshot and IDW's Movie Adaptation, and are available on his DeviantArt Page.

Is it just me or did it look better in black and white?

Whenever I see I picture of movie Starscream I can't help but think of Doritos. Nice coloring on the cover, tho.

I don't know about that, but I do know that we've already seen the Milne art already.

Yeah I linked to Skowls story about the original Line art :P

Personally I prefer Milne's work coloured, and Raiz's work as line art.

So I'm assuming this is kind of filler between the movies. Would suck if the next movie just totally glazed over this comic.

The black and white version of the first pic looks better than the color....but I prefer the second one personally..it looks nice colored

Why thank you very much, it is brand new. I've always wanted to have a sig, but couldn't decide on what to do, but I saw on one of the other forums that I'm not the only one who hates Ford, so I thought it was time to express my distaste for Ford motor corp.

YAY! Another rabid Ford-hater! I am not alone anymore!

"I would rather push a Chevy than drive a Ford!"

Nice color and art work as always, but I can't stand the movie Starscream, so I don't care to read it.

These all make Starscream look better than the toy; He totally can carry a plotline - his "reign" has been a long time coming -

...What happened to the "Shockwave homage" cover?

Maybe it is for a different issue in the arc. Hey, does anyone know how many issues this arc will have btw?

I like the second by James Raiz. Its a whole lot cleaner than the first. The movie Starscream makes more sense to me. He looks like he could transform into a jet, the basic form is there.

And the Decepticons would not bother with trying to mimic human faces. They look like sharks would if they were ever formed from metal.

The Decepticons, wouldn't try to mimic being human, they're proud being themselves, even if they look like roaches in the movie, that morph somehow to a moving earth weapon of destruction. Flying gaint scary metal roaches. They hurt. Screw humans and they're fancy looks. :P

J/K, again, the comics, somehow, always make everything look better, still I don't care for any movie plot comics or toys, but that just me. The art is very cool thoug. ;)

Wow!, nice. I've always loved James Raiz' work. I'm not sure at all, but i feel like i've heard that this is a 4 issue series. I could be pulling this out of my *** but i think that's what i heard. It was either on one of Ryall's posts or Simon's blog.
