So what did people think of nanosec?

I really think bumblebee is going to be like that annoning kid brother type, also he seems a little hyper active for my tastes. I did like the thief and megatron tried to use him but it end up backfiring. so what do other people think about this episode, also they are now repeating episode starting with nanosec at 11:30 a.m. on sunday.

What Bumblebee did to him at the end was a little harsh, I think.

I thought so too, I guess age and death don't mean much to a Transformer. Then again, they are in the future, so medical technology could have advanced to the point where he can still live a very long life. Or, maybe the aging effects were only temporary, and he'll recover eventually. Time will tell.

Anyway, it was a decent episode, not nearly as bad as other human based Transformer episodes(Armada's "Carnival" tops that list), but I really want them to BRING ON THE DECEPTICONS!!!!

Also, Bumblebee keeps calling himself the fastest thing on wheels. Isn't Blurr supposed to be in Animated(possibly as part of the Cybertron Elite Guard?). If so, then it'll be great when those two finally meet up, that'd be a neat rivalry.

I enjoyed this episode. I really don't mind the human villains when they are really just pawns with Megatron pulling the strings. I loved Megatron's line at the end, "I suspect it was an inside job." Gee, I wonder who? lol. I guess at this point, I have to admit, I've become a fan of Animated. The animation style isn't my favorite by any stretch, but it isn't god-awful either, and the writing on this series is spectacular. We have character depth again! And Megatron isn't just some lunatic bent on universal domination, he's cold and calculating, and deliciously evil!

I liked him. Nice to see that the writers put in a heavy price for the use of the suit instead of it just granting speed for nothing.

Only thing I didnt like was how easy he took Prime down. Prime seems to be bested by the nobodies easily, yet can put up some kind of fight to the more powerful enemies.

Doubt we will be seeing Nanosec again, at least not as the same person as this episode.

yeah, I thought I'd hate it, with yet another human villain, but it really wasn't that bad. The main thing I didn't get was the highways of the future being so empty.

I think it was a good, intelligent episode. Major development of Bumblebee's character. Granted it's so different from G1 but.. you know. this isn't G1. This is a whole new bumblebee. I quite like the hyper activeness, he seems to have the best lines, never fails to make me laugh.

"Are you sure I can breathe down there?"
"Sure! ...What's breathe?"

This episode was mature and interesting, the aging deal wasn't exactly necessary but its inclusion means that the writers really thought about it.

Some things I didn't quite get: Nanosec is clearly meant to be quite an ugly person (You don't draw an average joe with a crooked nose). But this didn't really come into any of it. I would have imagined a character who's main principle is Speed would have slicked back hair (ala Quicksilver, Marvel). Instead he's a ginger, bent nose, jagged teeth kinda guy. That makes no sense to me from a writer/artist point of view.
Also, his acquisition of the name Nanosec was the cheesiest thing ever. His name clearly already sounds like Nanosec, he should have made that link himself, and not from a bank clerk he heard from outside the building somehow.

I'm totally okay with humans under Megatron's control. But what irked me about this is why he didn't question Megatron's clearly alien appearance.

And Sumdaac seems unbelievably stupid for a man who revolutionised the whole automation world.

Oh and something else: Did anyone notice the smoothness of the animation in this episode? It seems far more lively and.. 'animated' when compared to previous ones. I noticed at the very beginning with Bumblebee's "DENIED!", the way his head moves, seems to have more frames in it, when compared to the choppiness of some scenes earlier in the series.

Loving Animated so far!

While I like that aspect, I'm hoping very much that the human villians are one shots; like many folks, I'm tired of the human villians and want to see the Decepticons. "Total Meltdown" is one episode too many where the 'cons don't play a clear role into the series (Lockdown reminds me too much of Sideways in that he's not really part of either side.)

Don't worry. You'll get your Decepticon next episode.

Who? Blackarachnia? I am concerned about that. I am not fond of her character in any incarnation. Ah well, bring the weakest of the Cons in first...

It occurs to me that BA may be the means by which Blitzwing and Lugnutz come looking for Megatron. I can see Megatron contacting BA in the finale of her episode, which leads to her telling Blitzwing and Lugnutz (even if she's not fond of either of them).

A possibility indeed. Never thought of that.
