The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:


It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted.
These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love.
No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

Hmm, interesting . The first thing to comment on is the art, which is absolutely wonderful. The second thing to comment on is the story, very cool! Megatron in the IDWverse is definitely a force to be reckoned with, and this piece gives us another reason why. Still, the wry smile doesn't really fit him in my opinion, because I don't think Megatron enjoys destroying his own troops(save Starscream, maybe Shockwave depending on the continuity). The generic Decepticon has a really cool design too, I like it .

So all in all, another top-notch entry into the world of Mosaic .

though this is clearly set against the TF: Escalation storyline by IDW, the Eclipsis robot has not appeared in that storyline, thus more than likely making it a fictional character created specifically to fill a gap(?) in the storyline.

though if you read through the issues, Megatron did find out about the new energon ore from another Decepticon, not this one.

What issue was that revealed in? I don't have the issues on-hand(my brother is borrowing them), or I'd check myself. Anyway, it's possible this was written before Escalation was finished.

Still though, filling gaps, even if they're probably going to be proven incorrect as time goes on, is still pretty fun . I actually wrote a Mosaic that filled in a similar gap within the Infiltration arc, but it'll be a couple months till it gets run.

Great art on this one. I just wished it was a storyline that I followed.

issue 01 of Escalation, but in a more friendly manner. Megatron, already having defeated "Super" Starscream on the previous Infiltration issue (blew a massive hole in the chest), asks Astrotrain about the ore and its effects on TFs.
