Noticed Something in the G1 "Making Tracks" Episode

I was watching the episode "Making Tracks" last night, and I noticed something amusing: In the scene where Tracks and Raul are chasing those two car crooks that Raul was stealing Tracks for, they are driving through the city and one of the movie marquee's says "The Transformer Movie"...thought it was kinda interesting. 8-} I thought that was interesting foreshadowing for the 86 Movie..unless it was just an inside joke at the time..You have to freeze frame it to really catch it. Makes me wonder what other stuff is "hidden" in these backgrounds from G1. :-?

Anyone else notice similar things?

Admittedly I haven't seen very much of G1, but I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't little tidbits hidden in the cartoon. I know of several series that have little hidden things peppered all through them.

Heh, how 'bout that. Your right. I never noticed that before ever, It happens real fast. That was right before the Movie too. I guess that was an inside forshadowing joke they made.
Funny how they used an Episode that spotlighted a Charchter that didnt even make it into the Movie or there after. I always wondered whatever happened to Tracks, The only Flying Car.
They shoulda gave him and Raul their own Spin-off.

Well he was going to be in the movie.Take a look at some of the story boards and you'll see him with Ultra Magnus and Red Alert.

I rented some old Ninja Turtles episodes from my boy and it sounds like the same voice actor for Tracks plays a snobby news reporter as well.

If you mean Vernon in the 1986 series... looks like he was voiced by the same fellow who did Grapple, actually. Hmm, didn't know that before! :D

Thanks for those links, that's a great site full of storyboard frames I never even heard of before!

Damn, it they would have included a good chunk of that footage in the movie, it would have REALLY improved the film, especially the best part of it, for me, at least.

The whole shuttle scene leading into the attack on Autobit City always seemed a little rushed to me and if you're writing out the Season 1 characters, it would be nice to at least give them a scene or two, even if it was their deaths. Hence, Mirage, Sideswipe, Red Alert, and Trailbreaker at least would have been accounted for and the viciousness of the Decepticons would have left an even greater impact.

And the whole "shuttle trying to dodge ice chunks" would have been a better way of explaining how the Decepticons could just sneak up and blow a whole into the shuttle without any of the 4 Autobots detecting anything. The dialogue between Ironhide and Prowl was cool to see, as well, and should have been included.

Ah well, at least we got to see Junkions dance with Springer and Daniel!!
