IDW publishing has released its May solicitations, which include many Transformers comics, including the second issue for the Transformers Movie sequel comic 'Reign of Starscream' (issue #1 debuts in April) and the third issue in the Animated series, which makes mention of Hot Rod appearing.

Whos that shadow on Starscream's forehead?

I wouldn't be surprised if they added Hot Rod too. There are already rumors of Omega Supreme being the Autobot shuttle. Hah, maybe the Headmaster will even be the carrier of Unicron's spark.

I'm hesitant to claim it's Galvatron, but if it's not then my energon is on Thunderwing.

The shadow on SS forehead... don't know. It could be Cybertron buildings, or it could be shockwave. We won't find out 'till April though.

The position of Starscream's shoulders suggest he is either ducking his head or kneeling. Could this be Megatron's successor perhaps? Soundwave, Shockwave or even a form of Megatron altered by the energy of the All-spark?

That Starscream face is insanely well done, the detail they managed to get into it is amazing! Kudos to the artists!

I always loved Starscream's face, even while everyone else hated it, it was one of the only movie face designs I never had to warm up to, I liked it from the start...

So detailed.
I really like movie Screamer's face.
I look in his eyes and he looks scared, pissed, and everything you'd think of that would describe Starscream.
And he has cracks on his face, along with that big spiky shadow...
looks like he was beat up and he's sucking up to him, but thinking of double crossing him later on looking at his face.

Well, considering the look of the shadow, and the fact that Starscream looks like he got beaten the crap out of him, then it is either Barricade, or Blackout, who were both blindly loyal to Megatron. So, it looks like they're blaming starscream for the loss of the allspark, and being a traitor, so they beat the crap out of him.

That shadow looks like Rampage from Beast Wars

Can't be blackout, he died in the movie. Since it's called the 'Reign Of Starscream' I'd guess he's not cowering at anyone.
