Getting ready to start up my TF Comic, and I need help!

Okay, here's the deal... I'm going to be starting up a TF comic, and since I can't draw nor do I know anyone who can, I'm going to be taking a Roommates in Disguise approach.

The title of the comic is "PRIMEx"(not pronounced how it's spelled, but rather pronounced with the "x" being "times"... like the mathematical symbol). The whole idea here boils down to being a story about multiple Optimus Primes from different timelines/universes by one Prime who's... well, kind of an idiot. I've been working out how exactly I wanted to run this, and I have it all pretty much nailed down.

I do, however, need a little help...

I need gifs of things. Not animated gifs, just blanks of items in gif format. Things like... beer bottles, other toys, cereal boxes, game system controllers... just things that people use in the normal course of a day. I am also looking for pictures of different locations, both indoors and outdoors that can be used for backdrops. Full credit will be given to anyone who helps and provides items that are used in the strips.

Thanks guys!

Sounds like you need a sprite sheet. Search around on google. Sprite sheets are big blank images with small graphics on them intended for use in Sprite comics.

They also have backgrounds and stuff. Just give 'sprite sheets' a search on Google and find some specialist sites.

Yeah, all that I get are sprites from video games... I'm looking for images of real things.

I mean, I'm sure I can find an image of whatever I'm looking for, I just wanted to give people a chance to help out... to have a hand in something

Alright, let me see...

Can you really really specify exactly what you're looking for? Photo/Photorealistic objects, that are.. how big? I mean are they gonna take up a whole panel or are they things you're gonna expect your characters to hold in hand? Exactly what kind of objects?

Just give us a vague idea, it may be something else - not sprite sheets - that you need.

Well, they don't have to be huge... they are going to be items that the Primes can use/hold/interact with.

As for what I'm looking for... they can be pretty much anything you would find in a normal human-filled household. Aside from the items named off in my first post, I don't have anything specific in mind. Maybe some DVDs and what not. Just everyday, normal items.

Okay, here's one idea then.

Make your own.

This is easy with a good photo editting tool which you'll no doubt have if you're making a web comic.

Simply take whatever item you want, place it on a white sheet, at the angle you want it to be in the frame, and take a picture. Load it into your photo-editor and cut it out of the image (putting it on a white sheet will make it easier to define, and may enable effective use of the Magic Wand or such selection tool). Have the background transparent, and save it. That's effectively your own sprite sheet for that item. Then just copy and paste it where you need it in the comic.

Shouldn't be too hard.
