I only caught the last half, I had no idea what was going on, but it was great to finally see the Dinobots transform.

Oh man that was f***ing sweet when slag and swoop transformed into robot mode and kicked the crap out of the bad guys. I loved this episode it had so many cool things going on meltdown is o.k. as far as human bad guys go. I can't wait to see what happens next. I had to look up the pretender reference but GetterDragun was right the two mutants are pretender shells come to life.

I thought it was really bad. Here are the pros and cons...

Cons:

1. It seemed really short
2. Not enough Dinobot screentime
3. Snarl and Swoop are silent
4. Fanzone was too silly
5. Meltdown and Collossus Rhodes appeared
6. Meltdown and Rhodes will most likely be back at least in 5 more episodes in future seasons
7. We get the indication that there will be a lot more human villian appearences and returns (If we see Angry Archer one more time I'll eat my entire Transformers Collection)
8. Again, not even a minute of screentime of robot modes of the Dinobots
9. Sari- annoying as always
10. They had the ending like as if we were never going to see the Dinobots anymore
11. Seemed too childish to me...
12. Should have had more action
13. They should have showed the fight with the abominations and Rhodes with the Dinobots
14. Episode had it's actuator handed to it by "Lost and Found"

Pros

1. Dinobots have SOME screentime
2. Meltdown and Rhodes go to jail (STAY...THERE...!!!)
3. Dinobots robot modes are introduced
4. Dinobots weapons are introduced
5. Easter Eggs
6. There were at least one or two parts when I laughed
7. More Dinobot episodes on the way?

Meh. I'm not sure what Bomburst looked like, but I didn't see much if any resemblence to Submarauder. If anyone's got a screenshot, I might change my mind after closer inspection. Submarauder had hands though, not a claw and some tentacles.

Still, I enjoyed the episode. Seeing the Dinobots again was great. I really like their designs. Swoop looks like something out of Beast Machines, Slag is awesome and Grimlock is pure love.

I even liked seeing Meltdown again. While I don't really care for him as a character, it was nice to see one of the human villains as more than a single episode character. Maybe it's continued character development, or just simple familarity, but he feels like he has a purpose now, instead of being a one-episode distraction. I do feel a bit cheated that Megatron wasn't behind Sari's disappearance, but I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of Megs soon enough.

I'm so buying the Animated Grimlock figure, and probably Slag and Swoop to back him up.

My Rebuttle to Your Cons:

1. Same half hour block as always, actually had a bit of story too.
2. Says you? If they were all the episode had to offer it would have been a little flat
3. It lets Grimlock be more of the leader
4. His character is comic relief
5. And? Meltdown is a good human threat for a machine, seeing as, you know, he can melt them.
6. See 5.
7. We knew this from the start
8. Let 'em tease, let 'em tease. Don't want them milking it
9. Sari- hilarious.
10. You know they are coming back.
11. IT'S A KID'S SHOW.
12. There was plenty of action, are you kidding me? Are you just looking for disapointment?
13. I agree, but seeing it from that angle not only added humor, but it showed their power from a large scale.
14. ???? what were you trying to say here?

I loved this episode, not only was the action so well done (UGH, I LOVED Bulkhead vs. The Dinobots), but the comedy was better than a lot of prime time stuff you see throughout the week. It takes a lot for a tv show to make me laugh, and I was, I was.

You're kidding right? A Bat like creature and a Shark like creature with the EXACT same color schemes as G1 but since the hands are different they don't look the same?

It was Submauruaders color with Splashdowns head close enough.

This episode was ok. I liked the dinobots but please no more human villans they are tolerable in small doses like on or two episodes a season, but not for two episodes in a row like this week and next week cause we got Headmaster next week, oh joy :|

Just saw it. One word to explain it: FILLER EP!

Have yet to see an ep of Animated so boring! Sure, we got to see the Dinobots transform, but other than that there was nothing to it. Human villians annoy and bore me to tears, especially Meltdown..he's such a royal douchebag!

Counting the weeks til Megatron gets a body!

Submarauder was my first thought, but he looks to have some influences from Finback.

Awesome, if you hadn't toled me about the pretender shells I would never have noticed.
The only thing I didn't like was that Prowl trained Sarry to defend herself against Decepticons.... comeon, will Karate help against Lungnut?
Oh please more Dinobots!

Both seem to have minor influences from the original Decepticon Pretenders, animated Bombburst appears to have G1 Iguanus' leg.

Really liked it, and what's even better is that I get to watch it with my son who is totally into every episode. Seeing the reaction of a five year old to certain parts of the show that I might find a bit much makes the show that much more tolerable and enjoyable. We're both ready for more!

ANIMATED = AWESOME.

It just gets better and better. One thing about the toys, I hope Grimlock is a deluxe. He's probably going to be a Voyager, but he doesn't seem that much bigger than the other two Dinobots.

Meltdown isnt that bad as a villain. He can actually KILL a Transformers if given time. Sadly, Sari stupid gimmick will alway bring them back..

Yes, thats my only complain about Sari, her key!

I'd love to see animated written by Furman... I doubt every bot would leave those eps alive.

I'm starting to wonder if Meltdown will actually become Oil Slick. But it may be doubtful because "Meltdown" is scheduled to appear in future episodes.

I enjoyed seeing the big bots back!

I also enjoyed more Prowl as he has been out of the focus loop for awhile. His interaction with Fanzone was pretty cool, and I like the fact that Fanzone seemed to start accepting the robots a bit more.

The Decepticon Pretender shells making an appearance was sweet! I would love to see me some more easter eggs like that! Now the fact that Fanzone was able to punch or kick them and knock them down bothered me a little, but hey, still fun.

I too wanted to see just how the Dinobots would own them.

Sari will always be at least a little annoying. She is a whiney, know it all child, who has been given a huge amount of power, and has very unbelievable robots as her friends, but no human friends. Her father thinks giving her things is paying attention to her, and she has no mother. She is learning from the Autobots, just as they are learning from her. She is in a sense a more tragic character than previous humans because she has no humans that really interact with her in any positive meaningful way.

So I put up with it because I know that they are building her character, and hopefully helping her to grow more as a person. In some cases, with the Autobots, she has to act like the grown up and be responsible, because the Autobots --and her father-- do not seem to know better. But one cannot expect a 10 year old to be able to act that way always. She is going to get her moments of childish mannerisms because she is a child. She is going to abuse power because she does not have the experience or foresight to see possible outcomes because she is so young.

But I digress. This was a fun episode, and then having 'The Justice League' feature on the Batman was pretty cool too. Where were the ladies though?

Animated still does more than just hold my interest, I look forward to it. :SMUG:

I know when everyone says Sari is 10 years old, they might be generalizing, but she is 8 YEARS OLD.

Then she is a mature 8... :D Actually I was unsure of her age. Even more reason to cut her some slack, me thinks.
