Shattered Glass
From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki

"Shattered Glass" is the 2008 BotCon exclusive figure set, and is also the name designated to the universe in which the story is set, at least until contradictory information becomes available.

The official blurb reads:
“ This year's chronicle shatters everything you thought you knew about Transformers! Here is a universe you never expected...

On a world known as Cybertron, a ruthless and cruel tyrant prepares his army for an all-out attack. Their destination: a planet rich in resources, known as Earth! Only a small band of rebels stands between this evil warlord and his plans for universal conquest. If these brave soldiers are unable to stop the attack, then there will be nothing to prevent this shattered universe from falling victim to the maniacal Optimus Prime and his evil legion of...Autobots?

This is a truly malformed universe, where the Decepticons are heroic and the Autobots are evil!

Coming this spring, the battle lines will be drawn and a new champion will emerge. A young and noble Decepticon will stand up and fight for freedom, the freedom which is the right of all Transformers! Advising him will be his trusted lieutenant Starscream and his fellow virtuous Decepticons. They will fight to the very last to stop the spread of Optimus Prime's tyranny!

Although there is as yet not enough information to know how the "Shattered Glass" universe will relate to others, be it an alternate timeline of an existing continuity family or purely a standalone universe/continuity with no direct ties to pre-existing continuities, it is clearly a riff on the old sci-fi warhorse of an evil alternate universe. Although the most famous example is Star Trek 's Mirror Universe, this new Transformers universe with morally-inverted characters and factions is also highly reminiscent of DC comics' Earth-Three, in which the Justice League of America are villains known as the Crime Syndicate of America, opposed only by a heroic version of Lex Luthor.

Pimpimus Prime: all he needs is a tiger-print hat.

* Shattered Glass (BotCon box set, 2008)

"Shattered Glass" Optimus Prime is a purple, gray, and black redeco of Classics Optimus Prime. In robot mode mode, his aero fairing transforms into a large ion blaster, and his smokestacks transform into a smaller blaster. Additionally, both can combine together to form a back-mounted shoulder weapon.

Optimus Prime is part of BotCon 2008's exclusive box set of five figures. His mold was also used for Classics Ultra Magnus.

Optimus Prime is only available as part of a set of six toys, along with Autobot Jazz, Grimlock, Goldbug, Razorclaw and Starscream.

* Shattered Glass (BotCon box set, 2008)
o Accessories: Launcher, afterburner-shaped missile, key

Part of BotCon 2008's exclusive box set of five figures, Jazz is a retool of Cybertron Crosswise with a new head sculpt based on G1 Jazz and a new color scheme base on his G1 counterpart's. He transforms into a Bugatti Veyron mid-engine sports car. Plugging a Cyber Key into his tailgate makes a pair of missile racks pop up from the engine bay and flip over onto his roof. His car mode's rear panels and running boards can swing forward to become hip-mounted (non-firing) blasters.

Jazz is only available as part of a set of six toys, along with Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Goldbug, Razorclaw and Starscream.

This mold was also used to make Shattered Glass Ricochet, Cybertron Smokescreen and the live-action movie-continuity Jolt.

Part of BotCon 2008's exclusive box set of five figures, Goldbug is a retool of Cybertron Hot Shot with a new head sculpt based on G1 Goldbug and a new black, yellow, and blue color scheme, bearing a little resemblance to Stealth Bumblebee. He transforms into a modified Chrysler ME Four-Twelve concept car. Plugging a Cyber Key into his trunk deploys transparent blue wings from his spoiler. The toy also comes with a spring-loaded missile-launching gun that can be carried in robot mode or pegged into the roof of the car mode.

* Shattered Glass (BotCon box set, 2008)

Part of BotCon 2008's exclusive box set of figures, Razorclaw is a redeco of Classics Overbite, transforming into a robotic wolf.

Part of BotCon 2008's exclusive box set of five figures, Starscream is a redeco of Cybertron Voyager Starscream in a color scheme that homages the original Jetfire. He also has a spring-loaded missile launcher which can be hand-held, or mounted on the underside of his vehicle mode.

FYI, most of us here know about the Botcon set for this year. When you have info you want to pass on, its best to write a blurb on it then post a link that we can go see it at like http://www.botcon.com.

I would recommend you read the rules of posting and all that at the top of the forum threads, just so you understand how it works here. Some things are frowned upon and you should know what those are so you dont get any form or warning or anything. Just an FYI we all go through it when we first come to Seibertron.
