Just a quick query, select the best single episode and issue you've seen/read so far.

Here's mine:

Episode: Beast Wars "Code of hero"
I dare you to find a better episode then this one.

Issue: IDW Spotlight Shockwave.
It's the issue that basicly starts all events in IDW's universe.

BW "Nemesis 1 and 2" it's a two parter so technicly it's one long eppy.

Megatron Origin (Ok, the whole series/TPB)

It is the origin of the whole new IDW continuity and many main characters in it. I have all issues, and keep the TPB handy for the many, many times I constantly re-read it. It is my favorite of my entire comic collection.

Favourite episode is Transmutate from Beast Wars. Code of Hero was great, but the ending of Transmutate actually gives me shivers when the Transmutate is destroyed by Rampage and Silverbolt. Very powerful episode.

Off the top of my head I'll say for a issue Spotlight Galvatron. In general I've liked the spotlights better than the regular run (the Beast Wars are ok too). Galvatron's spotlight had that awesome attempt to fry him by Sideswipe and I really liked the art.

Megatron spotlight was pretty cool and Kup's spotlight was just so different I liked it a lot.

Another good one was from Dreamwave. The one where Megatron comes and puts his house in order. Bruticus (under Starscream) fights Predaking (under Megatron) and gets his butt handed to him. I remember that being a great issue and then shortly after that Dreamwave was gone... Too bad.

Impossible, that episode was pure win.

Best TF show: Beast Wars: "The Agenda" parts 1-3...hands down, the BEST animated show ever created, BAR NONE! Although "Nemesis" is a damned close second, since Simon Furman wrote the second episode.


Best TF comic: "Megatron Origin". So much crammed into one TPB, one has to read it multiple times to soak in all it's Megatron-goodness!

For me it's a tie between BW's code of hero and the nemesis.. i can't pick one. i mean in code of hero you get to see one of the most tragic moments in Transformers history when dinobot dies just to save mankind and he kicks some serious butt. but in nemesis you get to see megatron at his full power and glory and totally and his destructive and evil nature.

Best issue would be War Within.

oh yeah. Beast Wars pwnz0rs every other Transformers TV series.

Best Episode

Beast Wars: The Agenda 1-4 (yes I know Agenda had officially 3 parts but the next episode continued on directly and I love that bit where Primal puts back the Matrix and Optimus awakens for a few seconds before returning to stasis.)
