IDW Publishing's Transformers Editor Denton Tipton has kept his great opening slew of content running, with his latest blog update.

Following right on the back of releasing a full colour preview of "All Hail Megatron", Tipton has revealed 5 full completed colour pages, as well as a full colour cover of IDW's upcoming 2007 Movie sequel comic "Reign of Starscream".

Reign of Starscream should be available at Botcon08, the week before it's official release on Wednesday April 16th 2008.

VERY NICE. I like it, but I just hope these non-movie characters from the early toyline waves aren't in the sequel film. Cuz then Hasbro would have to sell them all over again to those who didn't buy them before, and I doubt they would rerelease them.

Dude, Prowl's head look really G1 to me.

Hmm. It appears that the first part of this will attempt to combine "Ghosts of Yesterday" with the prequel comic. Not sure it'll work, but it'll be fun to see.

Not too pleased about the Star Trek reference, though.

Ok from the picture in Primes ship I can make out atleast 10 other autobots so how would this explain where the others were during the movie?

Does anyone know if they are going to release all of these comics into one issues like they did for the prequel and adaption?

As in a Trade Paperback?

It's all but guaranteed these days that any multiple issue story will be made into a Trade.

I can't wait for this to come out! I hope Prowls the one that they said will be in TF2, and a nice Cameo by Cosmos, I woudn't mind seeing him in the movie either.

I got a lot of questions.
Is that Cliffjumper and Cosmos aboard the ship?
Is Prowl going to be a significant character?
Is that the new Ark?
And why is Dreadwing surprised?
We'll find that out in april.
But, so far, I am looking foward to this comic.

It was nice to see resident Autobot "fat kid" Cosmos.

The art was a lot better than the prequel comics.

Can anyone give a rundown of the non-movie bots? Also, was that Sideswipe in the panel where Prime is addressing his tropps before he leaves.

And who are the civilians? There was a class of Transformers that stayed neutral after the war?

This looks like it's going to be awesome. I thought that I had read it's coming out at Botcon?

The art is amazing and the colors are really vibrant. I'm also liking the "nods" like Jazz saying "shenanigans" again. Way to give him back some dignity!

Is that Wheelie in the second panel of Page 3? Far left. Man, Cosmos, Prowl, Cliffjumper, maybe?

Can't wait to see what happens to Dreadwing.

Reign of Starscream is released on 30th April

i cant believe they put cosmos in there i have nothing against him but wander what he transformers into if hes on earth should be intersting and whos the red bot? hotrod or cliffjumper hard to tell from the back

I am definitely looking forward to this when it comes out. Hopefully, it is good. There are some promise in it from the 5 page preview.
