I bought the headmaster series, and it played in my DVD player flawlessly. I just recently purchased the Super God Masterforce, and it will not play in any of my 4 DVD players (PS3, XBOX 360, Up Convert and the Rgeular one in the bedroom) Both Sets are PAL All Region.

Go to this site http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/philips-dvp-642/4117 and type in the two stand alone dvd players model number. See if they have a hack for it. I will be getting those dvd's soon from Madman. Oh and I can't take credit for that url, the credit goes to our very own Seibertron.

I tried that site, the hack it gives for my model doesn't work though. It doesn't have a hack for my newer model. I may have to break down to buy a cheap model and do it. Thanks for the tip though.

You shouldn't have needed to hack your DVD player/s to watch the Super God Masterforce or Headmasters releases from Madman as both sets were region free, meaning they would play anywhere in the world on any player.

Only their Beast Wars and individual G1 sets are region encoded...

It says All region on it.For some reason, My DVD player says Region not supported though. Probably some sort of incorrect coding from the facotry.

It is the solution that makes the most sense, but it could also be a DVD error.

Any chance of testing it in other players at relatives/friends places?

Madman are pretty good with returns and replacement DVD's.

I got it from someone on Ebay. He said he will give me a refund. First tried accusing me of burning copies. I said "Dude, I am a collector, and I assure you I'm not interested in Bootlegged or Burned copies" I even first asked if he would justdo a replacement.

I tried it in 4 different players, PS3 doesn't support PAL at all, Xbox 360 won't play it, neither of my regular DVD players will play it, including the one that plays the Headmaster ones flawlessly.
