It seems Amazon.com already has a pre-order listing for the trade paperback of IDW's upcoming "Reign of Starscream" mini-series. The series will follow the events of the first Transformers movie, leading up to the film's sequel set for release on June 26th 2009.

The tentative release date for the trade paperback is November 25th 2008.

You may be able to pre-order it, but actually getting your hands on it is something entirely different.

According to Amazon's original dates for my "pre-ordered" BW Sourcebook, I should already have it... but the release date kept getting pushed back, and pushed back. Now they say it's "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

In short... don't go counting chickens before they're hatched!

That's not Amazon's fault though, IDW is the one who pushed the Beast Wars Sourcebook release date back. I have the same problem with my pre-order from Amazon.ca.

the Sourcebook probably won't ship until May I believe, if I remember that was the date given by IDW. I'll look it up and see if I can find a new release date for the BW comic.

Well, I'm sold, and I'll be getting it with Spotlight Volume 3 for $27.18.

not bad first time i checked this out at amazon there was no cover all i have t say is now i like the cover very much

Meh, I'm not preordering now and waiting till Novemeber to recieve it. I'm just gonna purchase single issues either online or at the nearest comic book store from my house. Preferably online...
