Anyone fed up with all the spoilers?

This is starting to get absolutely ridiculous with Animated being shown in some far off corner of the globe, information keeps getting spread about upcoming episodes. I for one am freaking tired of it. I can't even check my email now because people send news reports with the spoiler IN THE TITLE! Can't people learn to have some resolve and wait for the show to play on their own damn television? Really, what is the point in watching something a month or so ahead of time? All that ends up doing is giving you nothing to watch after the season is done airing.
Grrr. So freaking angry at this moment.

I wouldnt get so worked up about it man. This happens every year and will happen every year till transformers ends. People just get so excited when a new tf series begins. So the best thing to do is just sit back, relax, and laugh to yourself about all those hyper people out there who ruin it for themselves while you can make sure you dont spoil it for yourself. Hope this helps.

I enjoy the availablility of them. And face, it, a lot of Tfans are impatient. Spoilers sort of help me save money for toys I want, too.
But I will say this. I'd be enjoying the show a lot more if I didn't read every bit of spoiler there is. Especially this week. The last episode to end the season and now I know how it ends. I'm sort of disappointed. It almost ruins the fun of the 7 other episodes we have left.
But it comes down to self-resolve. If you see something marked "spoiler" in huge letters, don't click it. Unfortunately, I have problems when it comes to this.
I feel you IronMan, more this week than any other.

Haven't ya learned?
We Transformers fans have absolutely no patience what so ever. Whether it's toys, or the show, we can't wait to see it. Most people want everything now. For example, someone spent over $500 for Wave 1 Animated Deluxe 6 months before they were released. I'm happy getting them for $60 right now.
Don't get me wrong, spoilers are lame. There's nothing better than watching it on your own T.V. But seeing spoilers makes people want to watch the show even more. And there's nothing wrong with watching these spoilers.. The Animated Show is like 4 episodes ahead in Canada, while it seems it's like 10 episodes ahead across the world.
I feel that it doesn't matter how or where you watch it, aslong as you enjoy it.. right?

I have no problem WHATSOEVER with spoilers that are for an episode you'll see in a few days. But not one you'll not see for more than a month.

Yet, won't you still be wondering what happens in the episodes in between? Like Star Wars Ep III. There was still so much anticipation. And even if you did read the Spoilers, it's still not the same as watching the show.

I don't have a problem with the episodes being shown early for the most part. I have a problem with people who watch them early, and then go on freaking sites like this putting the spoiler in the heading of their freaking topic. I also belong to a couple of toy collecting sites. What did I see today while perusing folks collections? A freaking picture thread with images from the final episode of the season. Not marked as spoilers or anything. Just sitting there waiting for me to scroll down and have all the lead up ruined a month in advance.

Ha, that's why I watched the prequels first. I'm watching the originals now.
I understand your point, but Star Wars and TFA are quite different. The originals were already made and established as the official Star Wars story. The prequels were made to explain the history.

Exactly. The **** happening as of late is along the lines of coming out of the theater of the first showing of The Empire Strikes Back, and going "HEY EVERYONE! DARTH VADER IS LUKE'S DAD!"

Yar, bad comparison.
Still, it's something that can't be helped. Some nubs think that it's 'cool' to post something that no one else has seen before, regardless if it's somewhat of a spoiler.

At least what has been spoilered was already guessed at/assumed by many to be inevitable.
Spoiler tags and a more discreet thread title would have been much better though.

Yes it must be frustrating when another country gets a cartoon or toy ahead of you.
Welcome to the life of an Australian or UK collector.
Perhaps an update to the rules (with a nice big sticky or announcement like in the buy/sell forum) asking people to put something like [SPOILER] in the the thread title and the actual spoiler in the body of the thread. That way people can choose whether or not to read the thread.
Won't help on other sites but it's something that can be done for here.

Spoilers just need to be clearly labled for what they are and it is up to the individual to consume them responsibly if at all.
I usually avoid spoilers , but not now with Transformers and especially not with TF: A. I can't get enough. I've crossed that line because I know that even if I do get a peak at what is to come, I'm going to enjoy it just as much when I do see it properly. Then I'll watch it over and over until I'm quoting it. If I'm lucky I'll dream about it too. It's my addiction and anyone else's own choice to follow. There are plenty worse vices in this world.

Yeah, I'm kinda tired of it, but that's life in the electronic age.
Besides, it's not like I don't peek.

Yes! I hate having to tiptoe around everything because of possible spoilers. TFW2005 is annoying me by posting news articles that, while labeled as SPOILERS, show a screenshot of said episode with possible spoilers in the front page news article. I've avoided sites completely with things like video games where I don't want to be spoiled, but I really don't want to stop receiving news on Transformers.
Anyways, glad to see I'm not the only one.

Now you know what it's like to be in Japan, where they get everything transformers late.

"Snape kills Dumbledore." Hilarity.

The fact that I'm not holding a Masterpiece Megatron right now says otherwise.

I am sort of in this boat actually. I don't mind them, and I will watch them if I want to, but I want the option of watching or not.
I am excited about some of the spoilers's I've seen/heard of and I will get the torrents as soon as I can. (I don't have a tv)

lol, and they even put the "(Spoilers)" warning in the same line.
Here's some prime examples of how they'd post things:
TFTM:
OMFG! Optimus Prime dies! (spoilers)
Megatron gets rebuild into Galvatron! (spoilers)
Marvel UK G1 comic:
The Megatron we saw for last 4 years is a clone made by Straxus (spoilers)

This is absolutely ridiculous! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!
Why is a spoiler screenshot on the front page of this site!? I didn't click on the news article before because it had spoiler tags, but now on the front page the icon for the article is a CLEAR AND OBVIOUS SPOILER!
I don't care if they've hinted at it so much already! I don't care if it was already "confirmed". I'm sure I'm not the only one who really REALLY did not want to see it! I'm thinking I'm going to have to avoid these sites completely until the new episodes stop showing! (Shortpacked was so right too, heh.)
Seriously, can we please get some sort of strict policy with the spoilers on the news pages, and in the forums?

Yeah, I've already posted my frustrations in the existing thread about 'A Bridge Too Close'. Ryan said himself he's going to continue posting images and spoilers on the front page.
I've been hurling insults at my computer monitor since. I mean seriously, what kinda jerk would do that?
And yeah, people are all like "well we already knew for ages" and it I'm sitting here thinking "yeah, cos you've been reading the spoilers. How about us who HAVENT been keeping up with the leaks?".
God, people are so stupid and downright inconsiderate! I'm seriously thinking of just leaving if Seibs is going to continue ruining my TFA experience.

I'm in the same boat as you. I don't have TV, so I watch the eppys just as soon as I can on the internet anyway.
I make the choice to indulge in spoilers including clips or mute episodes, but I'm glad I can also choose not to. So, you know, I can quit any time...

I'm with you Meverix. He actually said that? Geez.
It got worse too now that the article about the preview is a featured spotlight with a huge version of that screenshot, and a nice little spoiler summary that you have to quickly avert your eyes to avoid accidentally picking up anything for. Even doing that didn't help all that much. So nice to know they care.
and I really feel sorry for you, Iron-Man. Bleh, you can't possibly avoid them, being a mod.

Wow! I thought I was the only one sorta sick to death with the inundation of "spoilers" lately!
I accept that they are a fact of life online and all that, but I am one of those that choses to ignore ALL threads marked as a "spoiler" for TF:A or IDW. Most I have veiwed in the past are kinda half-assed to start with....What good are TF:A show clips with no sound and abysmal picture quality anyways??? As rare as patience is for me, I am learning to get some when it comes to my beloved TFs!

Yeah, Iron-man's in a bit of a crap spot.
I'm really enraged though. It's completely inconsiderate of him and of the involved news team to let that thing go on the front page. And I don't actually think the article's blurb has a spoiler warning.
And even then, the natural process of reading something like that makes spoilers unavoidable. You instinctively skim read it (in my case because I saw ceratin TF names) to see whether or not its worth reading the whole thing. You just do it. And anyone who says "Well you didn't have to read it" can go shut the hell up because even if they're not aware of my previous point, it's impossible to know the contents of a body of text BEFORE YOU'VE READ IT. How are you to know whether or not you want to read it before hand.
It just isn't right that Seibs can do that. He's truely spoiled my Transformers: Animated experience. And he doesn't feel any bit bad about it either because he has the rest of the board behind him.
See, people are just gonna say we're getting worked up "over a little cartoon" and we're just being silly. That very attitude is only going to make things worse. Is it really so silly to want to experience surprise, joy, excitement, uncertainty?
No. What is "silly" is that they've just shoved a half pint of pure spoiler into our faces without our wanting or permitting. Simple as.
