Included among those releases are:

All Hail Megatron #2 Written by Shane McCarthy and art by Guido Guidi. Dual covers done by Guidi and Trevor Hutchinson





Transformers Animated: The Arrival Written by Marty Isenberg, art by Dario Brizuela, covers by Alex Milne and Marcelo Matere.





Spotlight: Doubledealer Written by Simon Furman, art by Dan Khanna, covers by E.J. Su and Nick Roche.



TRANSFORMERS MOVIE PREQUEL: SAGA OF THE ALLSPARK #2 Written by Simon Furman, art by Andrew Wildman and Dan Figuero, cover by Nick Roche.



And TRANSFORMERS BEST OF THE UK: TIME WARS #1 Written by Simon Furman, art by Jeff Anderson, Lee Sullivan and Dan Reed, cover by Dan Khanna.



Other non TF releases scheduled for the same month are Angel: After the Fall #11 and Doctor Who: The Forgotten #1.

So many good news. I like the futuristic looking bb and Sari. All hail Megs I cannot wait to get, the preview is the bomb. Animated, I hope it will be good, and doubledealer spotlight should be good! Did I see jazz on that prequel, this will be very good. What is anyways?

I take it the artist like the Animated Bumblebee toy. Take a look at the cover with the teenage Sari, Bumblebee's got his backpack and his car lights on his foot are facing upwards.

So August will be a pretty full month then.

Also, that cover of Spotlight: Doubledealer is pure win. And I had a feeling that Time Wars would be the next Best of UK reprint.

All of the artwork is very good. Another full month of getting my subscriptions.

OOoOOoO! August looks like yet another month where IDW rapes my wallet! So many tasty goodies!!!

Is anyone else a little confused with the Soundwave picture? The drawing doesn't really fit as a comicbook cover, especially with the notes - glass with sensors behind it, hydrolics, G1 style helmet with classics cartoon face, joint for shoulder gun. And little things like a communicator that extends from the side of the helmet.

It seems more like concept art for MP Soundwave. Could this be a joint project with Takara and Hasbro? Or, did IDW just come up with this design independently since they have been including other MP style characters in their previous comics.

It looks like HGuido doing sketchwork. I'm betting they're just throwing it on as an incentive "sketch cover".
