Which G1 episodes feature these?

There are few aspects of the G1 animation I'd like to catch, but is rather difficult, when you've not seen the show in over a decade, and you don't see too much of it. So which G1 episodes feature these?
  • A very vocal Metroplex
  • A more vocal Superion
  • Bruticus talking a lot...less like 'Captain Caveman'.
  • Defensor in action, with all five machines together.
  • Blitzwing...other than Triple Takeover
  • Astrotrain in all three alt-modes...other than Triple Takeover
  • Blades in action...attacking
  • Ramjet smashing things with his head (not getting smashed by Warpath).
  • Comical Quintesson sequences.
  • The Combat Deck in action

This is mostly off the top of my head, so it's far from exhaustive, but...

Arjun_M wrote:A very vocal Metroplex

He's a bit chatty in "Thief in the Night".

Arjun_M wrote:A more vocal Superion

Not very many at all... I want to say that the brief scene with him and Alpha Trion in "Forever is a Long Time Coming" is the closest you'll get.

Arjun_M wrote:Bruticus talking a lot...less like 'Captain Caveman'.

He doesn't talk like a caveman in his lines in "Fight or Flee" (though he's still not very bright).

Pretty much all of his appearances, "BOT", "Carnage in C-Minor", "The Burden Hardest to Bear", "The Return of Optimus Prime 1". He's missing an arm in "The Ultimate Weapon", but that's a good ep for general Protectobot action.

Arjun_M wrote:Blitzwing...other than Triple Takeover

He gets some decent air time in "Cosmic Rust" and "Prime Target", though his shining eps are "Five Faces of Darkness" 3 & 5 (especially part 5).

I'm actually having a hard time thinking of times where he uses his train mode... I think he does for a brief moment in the original movie.

Arjun_M wrote:Blades in action...attacking

I don't think there are any, sadly. Still waiting on a full-blown badass portrayal of Blades in canon, though his small part in Megatron Origins isn't bad. (I have seen an awesome fan comic page with him doin' the rotor-chucks, though.)

Blanking on this one, though I know there's gotta be some.

Arjun_M wrote:Comical Quintesson sequences.

Aren't they always comical? *ducks*

Arjun_M wrote:The Combat Deck in action

Blanking on this one, too... though it was probably in first season episodes if it was in any.

"Attack of the Autobots" has some action from the Combat Deck.

No, he's always pretty curt, sorry.

A more vocal Superion

Not happening, see above.

Bruticus talking a lot...less like 'Captain Caveman'.

"Fight or Flee", but I get the feeling he was drawn instead of someone else by mistake.

Defensor in action, with all five machines together.

"B.O.T." and "The Ultimate Weapon".
Feck, did I just recommend "B.O.T."? Shame on me.

Blitzwing...other than Triple Takeover

"The Five Faces of Darkness" (Part Five, I think)

Astrotrain in all three alt-modes...other than Triple Takeover

"The God Gambit", probably his best episode.

Blades in action...attacking

Not in the cartoon - but the Marvel Comics are good for it.

Ramjet smashing things with his head (not getting smashed by Warpath).

"A Decepticon Raider In King Arthur's Court". He headbutts a knight off its horse.

Comical Quintesson sequences.

"The Killing Jar"

The Combat Deck in action

"More Than Meets The Eye", "Fire In The Sky" and "Attack of the Autobots".
