Widescreen? Sounds nifty! I can't wait for this comic!

Especially since this was before that whole Civil War madness.
I just hope I get my hands on one before they sell out. Maybe they'll have a convention cover at Botcon that I can pick up...

This'll be one to download rather than buy, methinks. If it ends up being any good though, I'll buy a Trade version.

Do you suppose they will stick to the original G1 takes as opposed to creating their own a la IDW?

Wow. Lotsa negativity. It's only 4 issues, not a major commitment. I know I'm there. Besides, it'll be the first time I can pick up a Marvel comic and look forward to reading it in about a year.

Yeah, that's how it started with GI Joe and i've yet to enjoy one of the many series of crossovers between those two brands.

They're going to put it in the idw verse between infiltration and escalation. They said that it wouldn't effect anything in idw, but I just hope they don't have megs and optimus in contact in any shape or form because it would retroactively ruin the excitement of the second half of escalation.

I really wish that the TF side of this would take place out of continuity! I don't really care for the IDW version of G1 at all. Plus, the "other" people (those not familiar with the IDW continuity) picking up this comic will most likely be expecting something along the lines of the original G1 toon/comic, or at least the general concept (Prime vs Megs, etc.).

I just started downloading comics using torrents. Does anyone have any recommended sites (free or pay)? I went to that pullbox.com and their selection is pretty poor.

Newsgroups are the better option. Things pop up quicker there than they do on torrent sites.
