According to Frank Welker,Corey Burton will be doing a voice of a Transformer on the new cartoon

If I remember correctly from the first time this was posted, he's supposed to be playing Megatron.

If Shockwave is in there, he simply must do him. That is the best Shockwave voice ever. I'm still puzzled as to why David Kaye isn't doing Megs though.....he's so good at that............

They probably want fresh takes on the characters. Kaye has been Megatron for longer than Welker was!

I think Kaye asked to play someone else as he was bored of Megs.

actualy, when kaye first auditiond for beastwars, he was trying out for optimus. thats who hes always wanted to play.

Well then, his patience has paid off, seeing as he WILL be voicing Optimus for "Heroes".

And I have very little doubt that Burton can provide a good Megatron voice, seeing as he voiced Shockwave in G1, Brainiac in the DCAU, and Dooku in the Clone Wars shorts.
