IDW realy did a great job of making this look good. If this film is as big as they say and doesn't flop, I would love to see this company in the driver seat for a sequil

Same here. Give Don F. the credit he deserves, those movie designs must be hard as hell to draw, and he did an amazing job. My only small complaint is Bonecrusher's head on the coloured cover doesn't look at all like it should. Neither does Barricade's on the black and white cover.

Even on the Alex Milne covers, all the head look slightly different, and the robots never seem to have the same head twice. I would think with all the complicated panels and gears and everything on their bodies, the heads would be the easiest thing to draw consistently the same way... yet this doesn't seem to be the case. Still great art and colouring! This is my favourite cover of a movie comic yet, and the colouring job looks fantastic.

I love the scene where Starscream changes form before the jet he shot down even crashes

I love how Barricade says, "No living witnesses." What a badass. Starscream seemed really Starscreamish here, which I can only hope translates into the movie itself.

I hope we see the bots in the film changing from their cybertronian mode to their alt mode on-screen.

The story has been building up quite nicely.

I love the cons vibe. Starscream really does feel like Starscrem lol.

Love to see how they explain the presence of Brawl and Bonecrusher. Frenzy and Scorponok would come with the others, but I haven't seen Brawl and Bonecrusher.

Meh... not massively impressed with the way they adopt earth modes - what is to stop them picking new modes whenever they feel like it? Such as Bumblebee up against Brawl, thinks "Hmmm, maybe a tank mode might be better" and copies Brawl's earth mode? I dunno, it'll probably be explained like they can only change to something similar to cybertronian modes, or they don't have enough energy for multiple changes, but it still doesn't sit right with me....

I agree with Phoenix_306.
There has to be a distinction between shapeshifting and transforming.

Im really happy with the preview comics. They were a bit short but worth the $16. Makes me want to see the movie even more now. Only question is why wasnt Brawl in the comic? They showed Blackout, Screamer, and Barricade on earth but no Brawl. I guess he comes in during the movie with the other Autobots. And also does any one have a pic of the prequel #3 alt cover? I cant find it.

The comics are done really nicely but their lenght is the only thing that bothers me. And they showed more humans then the Transformers themselves. I like the 4th comic cover.
They made Bumblebee to be very likeable character.

I like the way the Cons are portrayed, seems true to form. Overall, the prequels were done well, and do have me excited for the movie.

That, to me, was the best thing about this series. I really enjoyed it.
