I was just wondering if it was ever revealed whose gun it was that Megatron used to shoot Optimus during the battle of Autobot City. Was it Blitzwing's, Bombshell's or (I hope not) some gun that JUST HAPPENED to be there? (yuk)

Blitzwing is clearly holding a gun when OP goes to ram him, then when he flies out of the way his hands are empty. The corollary to this is the toy's gun and in fact the gun he's holding in the prior scene are not the dinky little pistol Megs picks up.

Bombshell gets slammed good, and some metal flies off him when he gets hit, but it's not clear whether that is his gun or if he has one at all.

What's the 'canon' answer?

It's a blaster that was planted on the scene by Hotrod.

I dont think it was anyones cuz when he ramed all those decepticons it seemed he was quite far from where megs gets that gun plus i think it was above ground level cuz megatrons falls off the structure.

I dont think there is a canon answer, but I've always assumed it belong to some random Decepticon that got blasted during the battle.

As for Hot Rod planting it, I'm sure he was involved, but I'm suspicious. There must have been a third party (not Hot Rod or Megatron) who planted the gun.

The beam dagger Megatron used to slice Prime was his. There is a site(forgot the name) which has tons of storyboards from the movie..........shows that the dagger was hidden in his boot. As for the hand gun.......random live ammo leftbehind during the attack.

Bare in mind that the battle had waged for roughly 24 hours by that time. Some random 'Con got wounded and lost his weapon. And you know it can't be an Autobot weapon as it was purple.

Ah ok, there's no 'official' answer.

Here's another - what's the name of Galvatron's starship? The one that looks like an evil Enterprise? Please don't tell me it's "Nemesis III".

I think that's another question without an answer.

Seriously, I think it got dropped by somebody in the heat of battle and Hot Rod picked it up in his intentions to "help".

Two new 'q's for you guys...

1) How did Thundercracker/Skywarp get beaten to heck in the movie? I know OP rammed one of them, don't remember which, but the other just buzzed around a bit and was never shown getting rammed, stepped on, shot or crushed.

2) In a lot of G1 videos on youtube, there's a scene where Fort Max blasts the Terrorcons, they get knocked back, form Abominus, then leap on Fort Max and rip one of his cannons off. Tres cool, but where is that from exactly?

We're probably just supposed to assume it happened off screen. What gets me the most is why after being thrown out into space, didn't Skywarp just teleport back into Astrotrain, in a quiet compartment where nobody would notice him.

What bothers me even more is that despite having the Autobots on their knees, Starscream orders a withdrawal instead of leaving Megatron to expire and having everyone gangrape Optimus Prime.

Starscream's questionable action reminds me of a recent Robot Chicken Star Wars sketch.

"All ships target the moon of Endor, I want those rebels destroyed!"

"Well, you see, we can't, the rebels have won."

"What do you mean they've won?"

"Well they destroyed the Death Star."

"So? They destroyed the last Death Star and the war continued."

"Yes, but this time they killed the Emperor."

"But we have tens of thousands of ships!"

"Sorry."

Wahahaha! That episode ruled. Boba Fett in the intro and 'just another normal guy' Emperor are the bestest parts.

I don't think there is an answer...so I'll call it "Unicron's Pride II"

Reasons:
-it looks like the same ship as the one that came out of Unicron, as a gift to the newly created Galvaton
-"II", because I think after getting swatted at the end of the movie by Unicron would have destroyed it, or really seriously crippled. Why would you waste resources fixing it? Just build a new one.

Anyone with a better suggestion?

Can you link one of the videos your talking about???

My guess its from a toy add.
