That's good, but for some reason it's making me think of Red Alert as Rorshach.

LOL, SLEDGE, yeah now that's all I can think of, red alert in a trenchcoat and hat. I'm a little fuzzy on the time setting here. Is that a flashback where we see earth modes, or am I missing something? But great, all the same

Another outstanding piece. I love the art and the narration.

Poor old Red gets a bum rap. Not everyone can be fun loving like Ironhide, Jazz, and Blaster.

It's cool. Red alert is all paranoid and zhit.

Love the artwork. Yet another good one...

Query: who are the these Autobots in the first panel?

Always nice to see a character get a bit of fleshing out.And by coincidence, I happened to have Red here beside me as I read this.

I always liked the comics incarnations of him. The Dreamwave profile and the Marvel appearances, few as they were. When he knocked out the rogue Brawn and then appeared alongside Rodimus Prime in the Time Wars. Oh and on the extras of the 86 movie, the animated story board where he gets killed retreating from the Constructicons alongside Ultra Magnus, Tracks and Sideswipe.

Much as I loved the G1 voice cast, Red Alert's voice always felt wrong. For such a cool toy, the toon made him a disappointing character.

Anyway, love that flashback scene with Red in the foreground and Prime, axe at the ready, watching the incoming Megatron.
