Just read the 5-page preview. Very cool. Even if we don't see all of these characters as actual figures, its still cool to see them in print. I really want this comic. And, of course, it would be super cool if characters like Springer got a general retail release, maybe as part of Classics. Man, I wish Hasbro would let IDW do an ongoing series set in the Classics continuity. Ah well, here's hoping.

Even if they don't release the figures, it is nice that they give them bodies that resemble previously released toys as a basis for kit-bashers to work upon.

Yea judgeing by the colors it's Sixshot. Although I don't see the head where am I missing it?

It's Darkwing. Or Dreadwind. Whichever.

Also, hypothetically speaking, these could all be additional Botcon Exclusives!
Springer (CD Hotshot)
Elita-1 (Thunderblast)
Huffer (Armorhide)
Weirdwolf (Snarl)

Maybe. If so, they'll most likely be handled in the same way that Tigatron/Airazor/Waspinator/Megatron were done last year.

I want to know who "Tyrannitron" is though? Could this be a Grimlock repaint, or could it be a repaint of the Dinobot minicon?

Looks good so far. I just want 2 things:
1) Be set outside of the club comic story.
2) Be a complete story, and not choppy and rushed like the club comics.
Otherwise, bring it on! I love how Bugbite looks in the comic!

Nice to see a decent ensemble comic with plenty of characters to try and spot, also a nice touch Prime almost calling Rodimus 'Hot Rod'.
Lets hope we dont have to wait too long to read it if your not a club member...

I'm sure Skywarp's "Good to see you, 'Cracker," line echoes the feelings of everyone who's getting the Botcon set.

I know they have a large cast, but I hope there is at least one scene where we see some non-toy characters. Maybe using other line toys as their models, like Cybertron Smokescreen as Classic Smoakescreen?

Looks good, but doesn't it ruin a surprise or two???
I hope that Tyrannitron is not the Grimlock repaint... too obvious, but also expected, since, well, what else are you going to do with that mold?
Monzo/Weirdwolf out of Cyb-Snarl...interesting.

Tyrannitron is Action Master Snarl's partner - you can see him (barely) on the first page of the preview.

It's not. Remember the last page of the last club comic, with Classics Megs meeting Skyfall and Landquake?
Roboto750 wrote:2) Be a complete story, and not choppy and rushed like the club comics.
Can't be too sure about that.
