The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. Is this a comic reference, or just an alternate universe?

Unique take on Megatron Origin.

This theory could even be more validated if Rumble and Frenzy were sent by Soundwave to the orbital mine to find someone that Soundwave could use. Soundwave, through his connection to the Senate (Senator Ratbat) may have already known of the plan to automate that mine and anticipated a riot. This would explain Rumble and Frenzy acting so put off at the idea of becoming Casetticons, maybe it was just an act by them, and they knew Soundwave all along.

Not my preferred take on Megatron Origin, and I'm not feeling that last line from Megs at the end. Still, not too hard of an interpretation to come to.

Nice art too, Megs looking viciously tempted and all.
