The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

Is that Actionmaster Optimus? Is it me or does the ending seem uncertain?

I dont know what to make of this. Id like to say that this would never happen but then again prime might not have always have acted the same. This could be when he just became leader. And i think thats Bumblebee. Dinobot wouldnt be around yet.

I'm assuming it's meant to be a random Autobot that bites it after going back to help the others, as opposed to BB or Dinobot.

Perhaps a decendant of Dinobot :-? .

It seems terribly out of character for Optimus... I think the concept is definitely there, it just doesn't seem to be executed well enough to make it believable. Optimus simply *wouldn't* cut and run unless there were no other option... and we're not truly shown that's the case. Maybe if Prime were directing the evacuation of the cave, saving other Autobots, it would be acceptable. Maybe if the place truly seemed to be a war zone, seconds away from complete cave-in, it would be believable.

For the moment, though, it just seems... out of character.

Comic is kinda eh over all.
But the look Ultra Magnus gives Prime for using his line is priceless.

I'm not impressed. It's just too far out of character and the art isn't the best. I think CP might have said it best...

Meh.

I'm sure he has a more realistic shame than this.

The art reminds of those Big Looker books...Insecticon Attack
Anyone remember the art in the above book?

Normally, I have nothing but praise for Mosaic, but I'm afraid this one falls a bit short. I like the idea, but the situation needs a bit of work before Prime can utter those lines without coming off as grossly out of character. As said, maybe if the place looked more like a warzone, and there were Decepticons everywhere and some dead Autobots on the ground. In short, good idea, execution needed work.

The art is iffy as well, could just be that the style isn't to my personal tastes though.

In the end, the typo is what really ruins this piece for me. The word is "collapsed" not "collasped". How'd that sneak past the edit?

They could have been inspired by what they saw in Transformers Animated, Optimus Prime does almost the same thing with Elita One and Sentinel Prime. That situation was a little more dire than here though.
