ROTF: Defiance #2 discussion thread (spoilers)

After the preview everything takes place on Cybertron.
Everyone is dealing with the aftermath of the aliens' attack. Prime wants to know why they attacked. The Relic starts talking to Megatron after somehow healing him.
Megatron then goes all George Bush and wants to "fight the aliens over there so they dont have to fight them over here (Cybertron)" and proclaims all of Cybertron's forces under his command.
Prime objects, naturally, and gets hemmed up. He then makes a stump speech asking his fellow "Autobots" not to join Megatron's war against aliens and openly questions Megatron's leadership.
Ratchet, during an autopsy of one of the aliens, deduces that they are related as a species.
Megatron leads all the Transformers capable of space flight in an attack of the alien fleet. In the process of wiping out the aliens Megatron relishes in the offensive attack and states that his "Master" was right.
We see more red eyed Transformers.
Since most of the Science Division cant fly they are relegated to clean up and guard duty so Prime decides to take a peak in Megatron's quarters.
The writing isnt confusing or convoluted it is just that the big reveals are moving at a slow pace to the point where it is hard to get a read on what is really happening.
The feeling I get (likely wrong) is that what ever evil that was in Cybertron's past was somehow imprisoned in the relics that have been dug up by the Science Division. All of them save one had been already broken which likely destroyed whatever was inside. The one Megatron had delivered to his quarters just happened to be intact and holding and the baddest baddie of them all, The Fallen.
