So, is there anything added to the animated movie TPB, or is it just the collected issues as they were released?

It's the same as the individual issues, with (hopefully) corrected mistakes and new pages.

And incidentally...

Thanks! :D

If that's the case, then I really don't have a reason to pick it up. I have all of the issues (as of last Saturday), and am really not impressed with how IDW handled it (except for the art... that was reall nice!).

Timeout, IDW had a news post a couple months ago saying that the Animated Movie TPB would have additional pages that would give us a little more closure on what the Season 2 bots were up to during the whole movie deal.
As far as I know, that's still planned.

So, it's a four-star book? Must be good.

DN is right, there is supposed to be like 3 additional pages, or something like that...

That would be nice, since it would add a little something more to make this the "director's cut."

No. It's me saying the F word.

Yes, I understood. I just read the preview pages over at TFArchive.com:

STARSCREAM: The "ayes" have it!
STARSCREAM: Remove the wrecks!*

[...]

BOTTOM CAP: *Starscream is referring to those Decepticons wounded in the battle of Autobot City, as seen last issue.

That's beyond the usual exposition of Budiansky's caps. That's just...plainly obvious.

I've only just started it (kinda busy tonight) and so far I count three new pages. First one is with Blaster telling Perceptor he sent out a call for help to the ark, then it shows a two page spread with Omega+Autobot Gestalts facing off against Decepticon gestalts.
