Idea for Next Transformers Cartoon Series!

How's this for a possible new twist for the next transformers cartoon series: Transformers: Alternate Universe!

***The Autobots are the evil guys and the Decepticons are the good guys. Can you imagine Megatron protecting life, while Optimus Prime destroys everything? Just a thought for a different type of series and toyline! Based off the Shattered Glass Alternate Universe! It's time to see Prime kick butt as a bad ass!

What's everyone's thoughts? :-?

A Shattered Glass cartoon would be cool, but I doubt that it will happen because Hasbro won't want to confuse the younger fans.

A Shattered Glass cartoon would be my first choice, Still I do want to see a Transformers series aimed more for Adults.

A show based on the classics range, animated by Gonzo with the same styles of the Hellsing OVA and written by Bob Foward & Flint Dille (Most eps)

I to would like the next TF series to be aimed for adults never say never as they always said that GI Joe would always be aimed toward kids then they made that newer series Resollute.

Which is more bloodier violentier and even has some bad mouthing in it.

They could do something like that with TF, but I dont think it will be done for awhile as I have a feeling animated will be around for awhile.

Yeah I know what everyone says no it isnt it is going to end after season 3 concludes yeah right I guess we will see what we will see want we.

Why else everytime when they ask the head honchos about this they say they have no comments or arent allowed to speak on it is because they have a 4th season in the works.

The source that came out and said that season 3 could eventually end is an unofficial source s250 they are a good source of info but they have been proven wrong on more than 1 occassion.

These are the guys that provided us with the Air Date and the Character Sketches about season 3 so my guess is they have someone on the inside or know someone on the inside who works on animated.

My idea for the next TF series would be about the original 13 transformers where Unicron and Primus were 1st battling each other at the beginning of time as always talked about in transformers cartoons such as Cybertron did.

This is always talked about but it has never really had a cartoon series made of it.

This would be a CGI Cartoon made with CGI like in MS Igloo was but only better with awesome music. Sadly this show would have no human elements in it as it is on the Begginings of the TF Mytholgy how they came to be and how things were in the past.

So no Megatron and no Optimus Prims but Vector Prime, Alpha Trion and The Fallen could easily be in this one.

name of my series would be

Transformers - In the Begginning
Transformers - Beginnings
Transformers - Legacy of Primus
Tranformers - Origins

I would also like to make a series were the Autobots and Decipticons were actually allies and Optimus and Megatron were actually the 2 Generals of the Faction and they are facing another newer faction never seen before so they are now teamed up to face this newer threat.

Also one would make a good series would be the Universe Toyline

An Alternators show would be wonderful and super realistic looking.

I'm with Bombus distinguendus though, I'd rather just have more TF:A.

What I fear though is a kiddie Movie-verse show with nasty looking animation trying to approximate how the Bayformers look but on a small budget. Who else smells that cooking on the backburner?

Me Also wish that they would make more episodes of Animated and I am hoping that at it at least goes into 5 seasons at the most making it around 60 episodes or so.

This is a really excellent series one of the best seen in a long time and I love the G1 Cameos and homage to the old school.

The show is really well put together the characters are excellent and the plot is awesome one of the best TF series done since Beast Wars in my opinion.

Look I grew up with G1 the only reason I praise it so is because it revolutionized the way Cartoons are done now. Yeah It had alot of errors and some times was a little corny but hey man it was the 1980's what wasnt corny back then.

I will always love G1 but now I love Animated just as much and I am now 27 years old and I still enjoy it.

Look Bayformers belong on the Big Screen not as an animated tf series so I hope to god that never happens.

I am not worried about the future of transformers or what the next series will be after animated ends eventually.

I am quiet happy with animated at the moment and I hope it will be on for a good long while.

I think that the rumors about season 3 are what they are just rumors cause the official head honchos of the show decline to comment on everytime someone asks them about it.

So lets all enjoy animated and the upcoming TF 2 and the re-release of G1 now is not the time to be worrying about the next series.

I want a dark, serious, edgy, violent Transformers series in the vein of the G2 comic.

Animated has its moments but they are way too few and far between for my tastes.

Hmmm... if I could do a TF series...
I guess there are some things I wouldn't be allowed to get away from...
Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee... these are the icons right now...

If I could scrap some recurrant ideas they would be:
Child-identification characters. They suck. They rarely work. The only "kid-friendly" character I ever liked was R2D2. I want to to imagine myself as Batman, not Robin (who only ever got cool when he wasn't with the bat.)

Humans in general... if fact, I'd stay away from Earth. TF is an established-enough brand that we don't need that touchstone anymore.

I'd focus the storyline on the "evolution" of TF's. The core storyline would be during the great war, around the creation of the "Ultimate Weapon"... Devastator. There would also be a parallel storyline taking place around the time that transformation was introduced... which I would place during the Quintesson Age.

I would discard many stock characterizations and assumptions about TF's. I would call into question the quintesson-creation-story, and hint at several other possible origins, but without ever giving one as the "truth." I would frame transformation as an extension of the pseudoscienitific art of space folding. "Sparks" and personalities would be interconnected, but not the same thing. Generally, it would be a very metaphysical show.

The main character would be Bumblebee, as a spy, investigating the ultimate weapon and uncovering old data about the origins of transformation. The flashback character might vary, but it would probably be some version of Alpha Trion.
Optimus would be the leader of the Autobots, or perhaps the leader of this group dedicated to ferreting out Decepticon secrets. He would be the equivalent of a Cybertronian senator/general, with a black-ops team answering only to him. Along with Bumblebee, we'd see Mirage, Jazz, and Hound. Other familiar autobots would show up as civilians, perhaps just on the cusp of being brought into the war (I loved the Blurr Spotlight comic.)

The Decepticons would anchor around Megatron, Soundwave, Shockwave, and (I guess) Starscream. Ya know, maybe I'd bring in Blackout. He seems like a good spy-theme bad guy. Other Decepts would cameo, many as science-experiments-of-the-week. The Seekers would be based on Starscream... maybe Starscream himself can be the culmination of a series of experiments. Cassettecons would feature. Triple-chagers would be big plot delepoments. The Duocons and combiner cassettes would foreshaow Devastator. Shockwave and Soundwave would be the major bad guys, with Megatron in the margins.

and I would call it...

Transformers: The Great War?
Transformers: Origins?
Transformers: Espionage?
Transformers: Black Ops.?.. Dark Ops.?... The Shadow of Cybertron?

Ah, to daydream...

I'd love War Within: Animated to be officially recognized, given a real animation budget, and have all of the cast from Black Bumblebee's project return. That way I can be an official voice of Megatron just like Kaye and Welker. Seriously it would be awesome!

They could allways do what they did for Star Trek Enterprise and cansel the main universe series and do the rest of the series in the AU.

I would like to see a Shattered Glass universe in a Transformers cartoon but it would most likely be just a couple episodes of the series not the main focus of it.

DC comics cartoons have had dealings with alternate universe as well. The original Superfriends had an episode where Superman went into an alternate dimention where the other members of the Justice Leage were evil and everyone on Earth was afraid of him. Batman Brave in the Bold just had a 2 parter where Batman faced agenst evil versions of his friends while teaming with the Red Hood (The Joker) who was the only hero remaining in that universe. The Justice League cartoon has had a few alternate universe shown. Superman and Lex Luthor worked togeather in one universe, in another Superman lobotimizes all the criminals, ect.

Off the top of my head, an idea for a new TF cartoon I have takes some influence from some of the old movies I've been exposed to lately - from Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" to John Carpenter's "The Thing" - with maybe certain elements of some of the newer TF shows and the movies as well as a touch of Green Lantern and Ultraman. It would be set mainly on Cybertron; Earth would be mentioned occasionally, but it would never be particularly clear whether the TFs have ever been there or not. The protagonist would be the "teenager" Orion Pax (his design would probably best be described as the E-hobby Kup repaint with a blue Hot Rod head); and yes, Optimus Prime would still be a prominent character - and yes, Orion and Optimus are still one and the same - but more on that a bit later. AND it would also have to be done in Mainframe-level CGI.

The backstory would be that Cybertron is actually one of several colony worlds of the Transformer race, and that the Great War has been over for nine million years, ever since the original colonists, the Cybertrons, drove the deviant Destron army off the planet; the Autobot and Decepticon factions as we know them do not yet exist - peace on Cybertron is kept by an elite defense force led by Ultra Magnus, Megatron, Starscream, and Prowl. However, things change when Megatron's scientific advisor Shockwave unearths a spacecraft that crashed on Cybertron four million years prior, and dig out a bizarre bio-mechanical carcass - which promptly infects the dig team and causes them to mutate and fuse into each other to create multi-limbed, multi-faced horrors full of hatred. The Seekers manage to contain the threat - after promptly showing up Ironhide's efforts to destroy the beast - but it gets Megatron to thinking that it could represent a failed retaliation by the Destrons, and if the infection were to spread, Cybertron and its population would be unsalvageable - thus, Megatron begins to initialize a 'survival of the fittest' strategy, to weed out those Transformers that fit certain standards of perfection, to neutralize those who don't and might actually cause a ruckus for it, and catch the next starship out of Iacon before things get out of control and the populace is any wiser.

Unbeknownst to Megatron, however, each of the other colony worlds have had the benefit of having a chosen one to lead them against just such a horror - each one selected via a mysterious cosmic power here known as the Prime Matrix, which not only holds the key to eliminating the virus but also the key to the long-lost origins of the Transformer race. When the Seekers interpret an oncoming vessel as another Destron attack, they promptly disobey Magnus' field orders and shoot it down, mortally wounding its sole occupant, the sage Alpha Trion and causing him to crash along the outskirts of the city-state just as a disgruntled Orion is going for a drive. Orion can't save the dying pilot, but before he goes Alpha transfers the Prime Matrix to Orion, telling the young 'bot that he will be able to access its power and wisdom in times of crisis. Alpha then turns coal-black and crumbles to dust, and Orion realizes he must warn the people of Iacon of the growing danger, knowing full well he'll become a hunted outlaw in the process.

Fortunately, for him, he gains a band of allies that include Jazz, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Ratchet - all of whom have just been dismissed from their government jobs by Megatron in favor of Megs' own hand-picked talents, which serves to diminish Magnus' power base, even more so when Prowl is left for dead after discovering Megatron's escape plan and quickly replaced by Barricade. With the decadent Iacon falling into the iron grip of Megatron, and any who oppose him getting promptly thrashed, Orion and his merry mechs (Robin Hood reference totally intended) begin sieging the archives where Orion once worked; when Grimlock and his Dynobot team try to close in on the escaping 'bots, Orion is able to tap the Prime Matrix to materialize (a la TF: Energon) a heavily-armed trailer that also sports an additional surprise: a Super Mode which transforms Orion Pax into Optimus Prime, leader of the newly-christened Autobots, taking the long-lost Cybertron slave brand as their insignia and ultimately burning it into the battered Grimlock's chest, a la Zorro, as a message to Megatron.

From there, the series chronicles Megatron's attempts to capture and destroy Prime and his growing band of allies as the Autobots outmaneuver and outsmart Megs' foot soldiers at every turn, also staying one step ahead of the by-the-book Ultra Magnus as well as Magnus' right hand, Elita-1, who's determined to bring in Optimus Prime yet finds herself increasingly drawn to him. And on top of that, there's still also the pesky little matter of the original Destron-mutated Transformers that have managed to escape custody and absorb a maximum of five Transformer carcasses apiece, making them five times as strong, five times as smart, and five times as twisted...

I admit that I took a couple of conventions of the TF mythos and tried to spin them in somewhat different directions - the increasingly-evil Decepticon characters being worshipped by millions as heroes while the Autobots are hunted down and shot at by the same millions for their courage and selflessness (as opposed to the typical 'mirror universe' schtick, or even "Beast Machines" where nobody else is around); Orion Pax and Optimus Prime being dual identities as opposed to one being permanently 'reformatted' into the other; the Transformers inadvertently creating the Quintessons, instead of the intentional other way around. In addition, there were some aspects of some of the newer TF 'toons I did sort of bring back - Optimus' Super Mode, multiple Transformer planets, Magnus and Optimus being in opposition to each other.

Sure, easiest thing in the world.

Episode 1- Part one
and
episode 1-Part two

Starting with episode 2, I will be voicing Megatron and Scrapper.

I thought of a couple ideas.

One is an idea I've wanted to do for a while but everyone allwants an in story reason to have all these factions in one series.

Anyway... Sticking to the 3 seasons thing...

Season 1. Ultra Magnus is leader of the Autobots and Shockwave is leader of the Decepticons. Them and their teams never leave Cybertron. At the end of the season they run low on Energon and build new smaller robots who can run off smaller amounts of Energon and alternative fuels.

Season 2. Thoughs Transformers are Mini-cons and Vehicons lead by Optimus Prime and Megatron. They travel to Earth to find new fuel sources. At first they think the machines are the dominate life forms but after a while they learn about organic life and the Maximals and Predacons get created at the end of the season.

Season 3. The Maximals and Predacons lead by Kup and Razorclaw.

So basically the Autobots and Decepticons are full sized robots that never leave Cybertron, Mini-cons and Vehicons are smaller Autobots and Decepticons sent to Earth to find fuel. They have both cybertronian and Earth modes. (Smaller by their standards but still rather large to a human.) And Maximals and Predacons are beast formers built on Earth.

My other idea is kind of a spoof on Star Wars where Megatron plays the part of Palpatine and Sentinal Prime plays Anikin later turning into Nemesis Prime.

Transformers Salvation: Sequel to Transformers Animated. In the distant future, Megatron becomes ruler of both Cybertron and Earth and terminates half of human population. Sari Sumdac leads the Resistance against Decepticon rule. Ultra Magnus and Sentinel Prime dies. Optimus Prime becomes Supreme Commander.

Heres mine. Kinda like the end of Tfs but what ever. Oh and it would be for just adults.

Transformers: The End
It is in the future and the earth is basically dead. Most of the TFs have died in a great war. Resources are very low.
Pit of Mercy
The Autobots and the Decpticons go into a giant war and lost of people die includeing BB Prime, Jazz, Thundercracker, and more.
The Shadow of Despair
Nemesis Prime is reawakened and creates a new body for himself(Shadow Commander) and goes out to kill most of the Autobots but retreats damaged. It will kinda be based on what happened to the Bismarck( The ultimate German Ship in WW2) except for each ship it would be a sqaud of TFs
Destruction
Nemesis Prime dies and The Autobots and decpticons kill most of each other but out of the out the one surriveing is.......can you guess.........I know you will be surprised.............Your be thinking "What the F**k. How is that possible"...................................
WHEELIE!!!!!!

Shatterd Glass worked well becasue it was in short, like the Star Trek stories.
But the next series should realy be set between the second and third film.
