i prefer earth (cartoon) orgin. I always wondered as well why Megan lol shrank in size into galvy. maybe because the thing with technology is to always make it smaller? no couldn't be haha

I prefer the Marvel comics version but that's because I grew up on them. And I found them to be more intelligently written than the cartoon.
Megatron didn't shrink to become Galvatron. Even in the G1 toys, Galvatron is bigger than Megatron.
Or are you referring to the Universe/Classics line where gun Megatron is larger than Galvatron. In that case I think it's down to the costs of production where the lesser known galvatron was not worth turning making as a larger toy.

Well in movie he seemed 2 lose some height. Maybe it was just the way he posed in new incarnate

I never thought Galvatron looked smaller than Megatron...
As for the Dinobots...I actually prefer the IDW version best, where the Dynobots chase after Shockwave to prehistoric earth and then, after reformatting into dinosaur alt-modes, they end up getting buried for millions of years when Grimlock ingites his ship to destroy Shockwave...That was a cool story...
