The article doesn't directly say anything about animated and is all speculation on my part, but if you're introducing new shows and a general new direction for a network some of the old has to go.

I don't think Animated is canned, I think the project has been put on the back burner as Hasbro said that they would concentrate on ROTF.

This isn't the first time they did something like this. A while back they aired a live action show. I forgot the name, but it was sci-fiish. The show sucked and had Gawdawful special effects. This, and another show (which premeired the same day), thankfully, didn't last a week. Now the CN is trying live action again, this can only lead to disaster.

I think you might be referring to the Live-Action adaptation of Ben 10-Race against time.

No it wasn't. I know Ben 10 when I see Ben 10, and this POS definently wasn't Ben 10. It was more like code lyoko meets power rangers. It aired a year or 2 before along side a show called "Dragonhunter", which sucked just as much.

i do vaguely remember live action stuff being on CN before, but My actual topic title should have read "Cartoon network airing MORE live action? is this why animated was canned?"

but obviously space i couldn't for space constraints. anyway the article says live action and reality programing(just what we need reality shows for kids), so it really seems like it's going to be a lot more than a show or two.

I honestly don't think TF:A is getting canned. As stated above I just think it's just placed back to make room for ROTF. As to the live action show on CN they could be talking about the Outsiders...which gives me a "ghost Hunters" vibe not sure why.

as for reality tv on CN the closed thing I would think They would get is Total Drama Island

TFA was canned (like MOTU and Justice League) because Cartoon Network is run by people with ADD who can't seem to keep a show on a consistant schedule and are obsessed with stupid Japanese animae like Pokemon and Digimon and Homomon and crap like that! :-x

Speaking of Pokemon that show wasn't on their list of shows for the fall either. Actually if you look none of the shows that premire on Saturdays are on it. There may be some hope for transformers.
