I'm confused.

If the Elite Guard are in place before the Cybertronian War, how does Scourge fit in with all this, being Post-Optimus and all that?

Sweep Clones for the win

I read somewhere that there's a thought that the rumored Skyquake and Leozak Energon Starscream figure repaints are the "Sweeps".

If it's based on the IDW'verse then Scourge Cyclonus and Galvatron were among the first ancient cybertronians, not creations of Unicron, and fell into service of the comics new big bad.

I can easily imagine seeing a couple of Scourge repaints in navy blue, called "Sweeps", like the Virulent Clones from the... 2006 set, I think it was?

So here's my current guess:

Box Set = Kup, Flak, Landshark, Thunderclash, Scourge
Attendee free figure = Skyquake
Add-on set #1 = Sweep x2
Add-on set #2 = Leozack & _______ (E-Cliffjumper as Jaruga? E-Bulkhead as Rotorstorm?)

(Personally, as a non-attendee, I'm just going to take my Scourge and put him with Galvatron and Cyclonus, then use a couple of Titanium Scourge figs as his Sweeps).

I don't see an entire souvenir set made up of copies of one fig. Perhaps the sweeps (if there are any) will be add-on figs to each set, so we'd have;
Attendee Free Fig = Skyquake
Add-on 1 = Sweep + Leozack + Deluxe Fig
Add-on 2 = Sweep + Deluxe Fig + Bigger Fig

I'm also thinking that if there are sweep clones, that they won't be repaints of the current Scourge. Instead I think the may be a scout-sized fig such as E. Skyblast

Aye, that they are. However Botcon's grown a great deal since their first time in 2005. I could be right, you could be right, maybe we'll both be right. Time will tell.

And let's not also forget about the PVC Heros of Cybertron Seeker set (that had Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, and three Air Warrior Clones.)

Was that an exclusive? I can't remember.
