IDW will release their Galvatron Spotlight this July. However, the suspense is continuing to build. Chris Ryall has posted some more teasers including three full pages from the comic in IDW's forum. The pages show both Galvatron and Hound and leave some small clues as to what to expect. Click here to check the preview out.

Interesting. Waht's up w/the new Ratchet design? I don't remember seeing him like that in Infiltration of Escalation.......oh well. I at least like Galvatron & Hound, & The Ark. That is one of the best images I've seen of that ship. Can't wait for this. I still have to pick up Spotlight Kup...................

This looks awesome.
Interesting to see how quickly Galvatron will come into play in the main story arc in Devastation or even revelation...
Art was superb as usual.

I like what I see so far. I'm really curious how they'll pull this one off, since Galvatron's not Megatron reformatted this time around.

July?! It's not coming out until July?
Man, I can't wait for this. It looks great!
Hopefully, the Matrix won't actually be a factor in this story. Maybe it's lost.
And I really hope they hold off on Unicron for awhile.

Sweet.

This looks excellent! I'm very excited by this. Jimmy looks a little blase when Verity says "We've all failed him".
A July release date, though? Is there anything coming out in June? Anything else for the rest of May?

You might want to mention the spoiler for those who haven't read Escallation #6 on the second of those pages....

I would think seeing comic pages would automatically mean that there were spoilers...
I believe Megatron starts in June, and each week we are supposed to get a movie comic... so June is busy.

I'd forgotten about the Megatron origin. Okay, I think there'll be enough to tide us over until July.

I like what Guido did with EJ's Ratchet design. It's sleeker and less bulky. It looks more like Ratchet is supposed to look. Loving his Hound design.

I've been waiting so long to see what Guido did with Galvatron's design, and he did not disapoint.

This is going to be great. I can't wait to see Galvatron dismantle hound. sorry hound fans.

While I still would have preferred the G1 cartoon look for these characters (especially since it's Guido, and he draws them soooo well), I still think the art looks great. Colors too. And the story will no doubt be amazing. This dead universe thing as started in the Nightbeat spotlight is fascinating.
Man, I hope Guido gets his own G1 book soon! Come on IDW!

I want that Galvatron image as a poster. Or remove the text boxes and have it as a desktop. I'm concerned that this only has Galvatron on one page only, considering this is suppossed to be his issue, ie about him. Still, looking forward to it. And if this does have things that tie into Nightbeat Spotlight, then I may have to bring myself around to buying that as well.

I don't follow the comics so I was kinda "huh" reading that, but it seemed real good.
All that about Emissaries got me thinking what if Galvatron faced off with TigerHawk?

I'm fairly certain that this does have ties to Nightbeat's issue, in fact one of these preview pages is directly tied into Nightbeat's issue, but I'm not 100% certain whether reading that spotlight will be of any great benefit (I'm assuming you've read some spoilers on the Nightbeat issue, especially since you've been discussing "Escalation" #6). If you find "Nightbeat", though, pick it up. It's intriguing.

I know Nightbeat was looking for a 'First Ark' and he had a chip stuck in his head by possibly Galvatron, but that's about it. Nightbeat is the only spotlight I don't have, simply because I never enountered teh guy before. I'd never even heard of him. But do you rekon it's worth picking up? They have loads of them in the shop, so I could easily pick it up if I want (although knowing my luck, and saying that, they wont be there next time I go in. It's happened before).

I liked everything except the artwork. IMO, that left a lot to be desired. But I do believe that the story is very crucial as to what will happen in future storylines. Especially concerning Nighbeat, now that he's called to Earth.

I actually thought the artwork was very fitting. Not what we're used to today, but it had a very distinctive "old-school Marvel"-vibe to it. It did have a lot of... athmosphere, if you will

Well, I picked up Nightbeat and I thought it was an intriguing story, but the artwork killed it for me. But how do you know that was Galvatron who did that to him? (I'm assuming Galvatron is the red coloured dude holding the brain implant at the top of the page where it gets inserted). It looks nothing like him. More like Cyclonus imo.
