They also reveal that the Animated Movie is not to be included with the set.

Finally, they have revealed that the set, along with the GI Joe Complete Collection, will be first released during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, from July 23-26, 2009, whereafter they will be made available online before being released to the general public.

Despite I already own the Madman's version, I might consider picking this up. I need to see this box first. I know the movie isn't included, but they should at least have a empty disc between the last disc of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3 to accommodate the one you already own.

Dang. I own all the Rhino seasons minus Season 1. Is it worth it for 16 episodes to buy a Matrix-shaped DVD case? *sigh* Primus knows I'll give in....

I have never been happier to NOT currently own legitimate copies of Transformers G1...This is thing is so mine!

But seriouesly, who cares if there is a slot of the movie? I already have the 2-disc anniversary edition of the movie and it's perfectly fine in the box it's in (I like the linticular cover anyway)

I'm super excited for this set...Now I just wonder how much it's going to damage my wallet...

Oh and btw, the article doesn't say the box is SHAPED like the matrix...

"DVD producer Brian Ward described the set as a 'really cool' box with the Matrix on the cover, which slides apart to reveal a shiny blue foil core which houses the set’s 16 DVDs in plastic digistack trays. The set also will include a collectible booklet."

Has anyone seen the price for the box set yet? I want to know how much to save up. I also have the Rhino sets, and if Shout's last blog is correct the audio and video will be greatly improved. That alone is enough reason for me to consider this. They also mentioned corrections, including color, that makes me wonder if the errors were removed. The orange/yellow starscream error might be gone? No more Sunstorm.

They mean the error that Rhino made will be gone. Like when Trailbreaker was red or when the rubble that the dinobots cleaned up didn't disappear.

Wow, this is great! I don't have any other versions, so this is a must-have. I hope the matrix box is well-made.

What has me the most excited is this: "a roundtable discussion with eight original members of the voice cast". I love seeing voice actors on screen, I was so thrilled to see Sue Blu on the Movie Anniversary DVD. This is just spectacular!

I have all the Rhino Collection but I am still going to purchase.

1. It has cool extra features in it.

2. Digitally Remastered cleaner picture and sharper sound maybe done in Dolby Digital 5.1

3. Cool Collector's Case also commerating the 25 anniversary for Transformers a must have for any Transformers fan rather you owned the original series or just a new comer wanting to see what transformers was like in the older days.

Think of how they are Remastering the Dragonball Z sets and that is sort of what they are doing for GI Joe and Transformers but with more features and extras.

I wonder what more DVD Box sets will be released this year finally we are getting X-Men on dvd after about 15 or 16 years it is finally getting the dvd treatment it deserves.

This is also the final series of Power Rangers after RPM ends it run,
hence the apocalyptic setting and being in the near future.

Maybe after RPM ends they will finally put the Power Rangers on DVD sets starting from Generation 1 up to RPM. Making it 17 seasons altogether.

Also I would like Reboot, The Mighty Ducks, and Megas XLR and the Jackie Chan Adventures in box sets also my favorite shows back in the day.

Also the original Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, The original Gundam with Amuro Ray it has been released in indivual sets but as never been made into a whole box sets like the Anime Legends such as Gundam Seed and Destiny was.

They are now saying that RPM is not the last series:

Either way, I still like Kamen Rider Dragon Knight better than Power Rangers.

I really dont care, RPM sucks and I have only enjoyed few of the new series since G1: Mystic Force, Dino Rangers, SPD, Jungle Fury

I hated Operation Overdrive and RPM

Well it must have changed last I heard it was going to be canceled after RPM ended I guess they changed thier mind.

That means next year another Power Rangers making it 18 seasons long.

Wouldnt that make Power Rangers the most longest series ever made or is it and the Simpsons tied right now.

There's been shows running much longer than PR or Simpsons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_longest_running_TV_shows_by_category

However, there's no doubt that PR is one of the longest running and most recognizable series.

Simpsons is currently in it's 19th Season, so it beats Power Rangers. However, Super Sentai(Power Rangers Japanese equivalent) has been running since 1975.

Which is why I prefer Kamen Rider Dragon Knight over Power Rangers. Same kind of show, same genre, but way less cheesy.

And best of all, no exaggerated "HIYAAH"'s at all! :APPLAUSE:

I like Kamen Rider Dragon Knight but, it seems somewhat choppy. The Clip show ep with Sting/Verde helped. It's got less of a budget then the first season of MMPR. Atleast I think it has less of budget can't wait for WIng knight and Dragon Knight to get there Survivor forms.

How so?

Well, there's forty episodes for the first season and a supposed movie in the works. So, I'm sure they'll get upgraded at some point. I'm just glad neither Disney nor any previous Saban person made this series.
