All Hail Megatron #11 discussion

The action just keeps getting better and better and what a wonderful twist at the end!

...that's Octane isn't it! :o

Who's the 'con repaint of Cybertron upgraded Scattershot? Did we get a toy of him?

Everyone is so classic to their characters too! The comments from Astrotrain, Cliffjumper, Optimus Prime, all spot on.

The dialogue from Megatron... the panels of Megatron... I think I flatlined a few times reading this issue. He just keeps getting hotter and hotter and being cooler and cooler. Either he'll reach critical mass or this series will kill off all his fangirls before then.

Yeah, my guess is that the plane carrying the nuke is Octane, but ya never know.

As for the Decepticon towards the end blasting everyone, that's Dropshot. He's a repaint Cyb Def Scattorshot released and repainted for the Universe line. I got him since that is one of my favorite molds. (cause he's armed to the teeth!!) If you read back to issue 5 where Sparkplug gets all upset about sending his son to death, you'll see he's actually leaning on Dropshot. I thought that was an easter egg for the fans, when infact, it's actually Dropshot himself. Noice!

I really enjoyed the interaction between Megs and Screamer this round. But not so much for Megs and Ops dialogue. But no biggie, ya can't win em all. There were really lots of cools shot of megs here and there. Wish I had a scanner so I can get that shot after Megs blasted Roadbuster. Bad assery!!

I'm so stupid! #-o I think I actually even own Dropshot, or some paint of the same mold.

That's another reason why I love AHM so much. It's like all the toys on my shelf are coming to life in this comic. Even ones I didn't notice or expect.

I don't have time to go into detail about my thoughts about this issue. Suffice it to say, after nosediving over the past three issues, I couldn't think it could get any worse.

Then I got the new issue, read it, and realized, once again, that I should probably keep my mouth shut.

Agreed.

And the change in artists halfway through the issue was jarring too.

I swear this series will end with Megatron calling for a Decepticon retreat and the Autobots laughing with some humans after Spike makes a lame joke about button flies.

The pacing in this series has been terrible, there is one issue left, and far far too much stuff to put in it.

I agree that the change in artists was jarring, but since Guidi can actually, umm, y'know, like *draw* and stuff, I'm not complaining.

About *that* at any rate. :P

It does seem to want to cram a whole lotta action in the last issue, and I seriously keep hoping all the people will die and die horribly (does that make me a bad person?)(every panel showing a stupid human is one that in my mind SHOULD be showing some robots! dammit people I want robots! I can look at *people* looking out my frickin' window!); nonetheless...

...best cliffhanger ending I've seen in a long time. Did I just underestimate Megatron up until this episode?

HK, awaiting her decepticon punishment

Geez, how did I know some moronic human miltary leader couldnt put two and two regarding the Autobots.

This issue was a Megatron fan's dream. He is much more than a "I'll rule the universe" cackling villian.

Too bad there really isnt a cliffhanger ending. AHM is going up to 16 now.

Technically AHM #12 is still the finale as the series was written as a 12 issue series, with the Coda #13 to #16 only needed and decided upon midway through the series to help explain things that AHM decided it could ignore and gloss over.

And let's not forget that's the reason why we're getting these extra issues, no matter how badly IDW wants to push the "AHM was popular" angle.

Like how the Matrix was lost but then all of a sudden was in Prime's chest to be ripped out by Megatron? lol

Pretty sure Nova (Nemesis) Prime had the Matrix. I thought it was pretty obvious that Optimus must have taken from his corpse and installed it in himself.

And if he didnt, It's yet another thing the Coda will have to explain to try and tie the good and the bad with the ugly into one continuity.

Alot of work for eight 11 page stories.
