The next installment of IDW Publishing's Spotlight franchise has a 5 page preview posted over at Comics Continuum

For your viewing pleasure, Spotlight: Cliffjumper is up. The tale of the tape on the upcoming book is as follows:

Spotlight: Cliffjumper will arrive in stores on June 17 from IDW Publishing. The issue is written by Shane McCarthy and Denton J. Tipton, with art by Robbie Musso and covers by Musso and Don Figueroa.

Here's how IDW describes the issue:

"Pursued by Decepticons and stranded on a backwater planet, Cliffjumper finds peace among the natives. But his new, simple life is shattered by a devastating tragedy."

Transformers Spotlight: Cliffjumper will be 32 pages and will cost $3.99.

Anyways, i just can add:

The description reminds me of that Botcon comic particularly Tap Out (the Cliffjumper repaint) and Glyph's interaction with that alen race whose name escapes me.

I'd like to see Spotlights on newer G1 characters like Glyph or Clampdown.

So, Rune Factory 3 will be a transformers-crossover...

Great,... another continutiy abortion by Shane McCarthy. So much for our intelligent Cybertronian Cold War Epic with 'Spotlight's only highlighting key players. Still, I admit I will be buying it, as ANY Transformers story is better than NONE. I do like taht he is actually jumping off a cliff.
