Autobot Hierarchy

I'm basically a G1 cartoon guy. I was just wondering what everybody thought was the general rundown of Autobot command. The cartoon isn't reliable because as they introduced new characters after the movie they either killed off or demoted old characters. But lets just pretend all the characters are at their peak at the same time. I figure the upper command would go something like this.

-Optimus Prime
-Ultra Magnus
-Jazz
-Springer
-Prowl
-Ironhide
-Kup
-Hound

I always thought Prowl was higher up than Jazz....I mean, outside of doing roll calls in G1 cartoon anyways.

Sky Lynx
Grimlock
Silverbolt and Hot Spot and Scattorshot
Pointblank

These are my choices.

Judging from his bio and his cartoon characterisation I had always assumed Smokescreen had some significant level of rank, putting him in the same echelon as Jazz and Prowl.

If we're going by the G1 cartoon, Roadbuster wasn't in there.

Technically, he should have been based on character bios, but Prowl's designation as "second in command" was not fleshed out in the G1 cartoon. Hell, dialogue from Prowl was rare.

Considering how close he was to Prime and how much face time he received, it seems like Ironhide was Prime's unofficial go-to-'bot. Remember, he's the guy who is given the briefing for the mission to Autobot City in the movie while Prowl was already on the ship and Jazz was doing guard duty on one of the moons of Cybertron.

Also, I recently watched an episode of the cartoon in which Megatron clones Optimus Prime. When the Autobots can't tell the difference between the two; Ironhide assumes command.

That's why I put him in the same league as Jazz and Prowl.

For me, the combined chain of command from both the G1 cartoon and comic goes like this:

Optimus Prime
Grimlock
Fortress Maximus
Emirate Xaaron
Ultra Magnus
Ratchet
Omega Supreme
Jetfire
Blaster
Prowl
Metroplex
Ironhide
Perceptor
Bumblebee
Hot Rod
Silverbolt
Scattershot
Hotspot

And, I have their Decepticon counterparts ranked as well, but they never follow chain, they just stab each other in the back. :P
